First time Hyundai buyer I was upfront with my budget and needs. I was shown the differences between base, middle and best models so I could go and do my research. Service Department Have owned 4 Hyundai bought new and serviced by dealership usually in Sarasota where I winter. In Canandaigua and stopped at Visions because MIL had j Have owned 4 Hyundai bought new and serviced by dealership usually in Sarasota where I winter. In Canandaigua and stopped at Visions because MIL had just come on. Told drive it and don't worry about it probably gas cap mishap. They reset. Week later MIL on again this time I got an appointment after I researched a little about how they can pinpoint area of problem by scan. Service representative was very abrupt and discouraged me saying well "you know it's going to cost you around 50/100$ just to research where potential problem is. Gave me the opinion he didn't want to be bothered with me. I asked for the "scan". He was not happy but returned with code PO496. I then asked him how much to find this "purge value" problem. He was downright dismissive of me and I left telling him "you never wanted to help me resolve this to begin with" Will never go back BUT will find a mechanic willing to help me. More
