I brought my car in for an oil change and recall I scheduled the appointment ahead of time and was told I have to bring it back because they need to order the parts for the recall. I was also told by the lady at the front desk when I first came in to get an oil change that I couldn’t get my free oil change until 7,500 miles when I kept getting notifications that I was due for service for an oil change. I did get my oil change done and it was free at a little over 5,000 miles seems like there is a lot of miscommunication happening here. More
Service was thorough, polite and efficient for the routine checkup, including oil change and rotation of tires. They also updated the car with a recall. Dear Vision, My expereience on August 9th was worth the long drive, 135 miles to your dealership. After the service was complete your staff member, Mark explained any further issues. This is my second reply review. Apparently, the 1st one did not arrive on you screen. The sales department is not trustworthy. I looked at a used car on a Saturday afternoon. I worked with Carlos, Jeff, and Kevin. Kevin seemed to be the highest ranking. My concern was that the car did not have satellite radio. I was advised I could use my phone and play it through the sound system. I am not tech savvy. We agreed I would see over the weekend if I could figure out how to set up my phone for that and return either Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning at the latest. Kevin stated that they would put a sold sign on the car and hold it for me. I did not ask that he do that. I returned on Monday ready to buy the car and was told by Jeff that the car was sold that morning. I had not 100% committed to buying the car and I can understand why they sold it to someone who was ready to purchase. However, I object to being given an unsolicited promise that the car would be held for me and having that promise broken. Do not trust this sales department. More

The dealership did all they could to right the wrong of Hyundai USA. The service staff worked hard to get the warranty that Hyundai USA markets as "best in the country" honored but to no avail. I have bo Hyundai USA. The service staff worked hard to get the warranty that Hyundai USA markets as "best in the country" honored but to no avail. I have bought 4 Hyundai's here since 2010. The 2011 Sonata blew the engine, due to a known defect via poor design, and they replaced it with a brand-new engine, no questions asked. Recently the engine blew on the 2015 Sonata I own. I expected to incur the usual inconvenience of car trouble but was relieved that the warranty had been extended to unlimited miles. The above rating results from Hyundai USA refusing to honor the warranty in spite of 1000's of claims, due to me not having receipts of all oil changes. In Numerous cases they have replaced the engines in cars where all records were available, but the engine still failed. Additionally, an update Hyundai USA installed on my car that was to put the car into "limp" mode before destroying the engine also failed. When my car was towed into the Vision service department, they had 5 vehicles with blown engines ahead of me. Even the best dealership in the world, and Vision Hyundai of Canadaigua has always done well by me, can't make up for a parent company that touts its warranty, and then looks for any loophole they can to not honor their commitment. I have submitted via registered mail a request to Hyundai USA to make this right. Failure to do so will force me to involve the NYS Attorney General. In summary, Vision Hyundai is a dealership with an honest sales department and a Service team that goes the extra mile. Hyundai USA has been very disappointing and unfair in regard to the recent change in keeping their word and honoring their obligations. I will be updating this post should Hyundai USA step up or any result of legal action if forced to initiate. I strongly suggest that anyone in a similar situation follow my lead and hold Hyundai USA accountable.
