Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your experience with Victory Buick GMC. We strive to help every customer find the right car or truck within their budget and we're glad that we were able to help you with the recent purchase of your 1999 Chevrolet truck. As with any older vehicle with nearly 200,000 miles on it, the car will not be in like-new condition and thus it is reflected in the price that you paid of approximately $6,000. We perform a multi-point inspection to make sure that our vehicles are in good working mechanical order before they hit the lot, but cars of this age are sold "As Is" as clearly outlined in the Buyers Guide paperwork that you signed during the purchase process. As the vehicle is 14 years old, there are bound to be minor issues that go unnoticed during the test drive such as the power mirrors, which we agreed to repair at our expense as part of the agreement as outlined in "We Owe" documents. As this car was sold as-is with no warranty, we were not obligated to provide additional repairs above and beyond the mirrors, but to ensure that you were happy with your purchase we repaired other items that were not required in excess of $600 to Victory. We offered to fix the additional repairs that you requested at cost, however you were not satisfied with that offer and asked us to provide additional repairs at our expense. We sincerely want you to be satisfied with your purchase and your experience with Victory, however, if this car had been purchased through a private party sale or with another dealership you would have likely been forced to pay for these repairs at your expense. We feel that we have gone above and beyond what was legally required of us by providing you with additional repairs that were not required of us.
