I was very unhappy with the service. I was involved in a car accident where a guy side swiped me. I brought my escalade to Vera Cadillac thinking this would be the best place to get it r I was involved in a car accident where a guy side swiped me. I brought my escalade to Vera Cadillac thinking this would be the best place to get it repaired as they are a Cadillac dealer and would be the most qualified to do the repairs. It was minor damage. My truck was there for three months. After the first two weeks they called and said my truck was fixed. When I went to pick it up I noticed that there were still several things not fixed. I was then informed that those needed to be handled by the service department. So I questioned why it was not handled and was told "I" needed to take it over to the service department to get those issues addressed. I wonder why then was I called and told it was ready and also why "I" had to come all the way out there just to drive it across the parking lot to the service department? I would assume when you take a car somewhere to repair that they would take care of everything. Anyhow I drove it across the parking lot to the service department. When I got to the service department David the service guy noticed as soon as he got in the truck that there was a warning on the dash stating there was a sensor problem and told me that was to be handled at the department (collision center) that I just got it from. David was actually very helpful during this whole process, calling and giving me regular updates. I forgot why I even had to take it to the service department, I think it was because the screen had gone out during the accident. So I went back to the collision center and told them about the sensor issue they discovered at the service department, I was told they would need to take the bumper back off to check the sensors and see what was going on with those and that I would need to leave it. It sat for almost two weeks before they ever took the bumper off to check the sensors. It was there so long the rental car company (Enterprise) said that I needed to come to do another contract in person for the rental, yet another inconvenience. So after three months of my truck being at Vera Cadillac I was told once again that my truck was ready. I returned the rental and went to pick up my truck. Upon inspection I noticed that on the sides where the bumper meets the quarter panels did not line up. I went in and let them know and I guy came out to look at it. He then went and got the mechanic, they determined that the bumper was not lined up correctly when it was put back on, both the front and rear, only one of the four corners was correctly lined up. I was then told that I would need to bring it back in the morning and drop it off so that could be fixed. I really don't have another whole day to waste to bring it back and just wait around, or I would have to go through the whole rental car process and insurance thing again. So I don't even know what to do at this point. I can't believe that I was told twice that my truck was ready and it wasn't, nor that it took this long to repair minor damage. Why would no one double check to see that repairs were done correctly before calling a customer and telling them their vehicle was ready? I am very frustrated as my truck is still not fixed correctly. More
