I had a great overall experience with Ventura Toyota and the purchase of my 2011 Camry. Luis took me for a test drive in the car I purchased and he was very nice and friendly . Simon was helpful with the paperwork and the finance portion of the purchase and made it efficient and easy. I would recommend Ventura Toyota to my friends and family. And although I hope I don't have to buy another car again for a long time, when the time comes I would not hesitate to work with them again. Jake was a great salesperson. He was friendly and really took the time to teach me about all of the features of the new prius that I was interested in. I did not realize how many used cars they had and I was so happy when I found a pearl white Solara. It was so nice. It looked band new. I was so exited, we were not planning on buying a car so fast but the sales guy made it so easy. I have bought about 5 cars in my life and always dreaded buying a car because of how I have gotten treated. "you know that car salesman thing" but it was so different this time. Everyone was so nice and i actually enjoyed the experience. More

This dealer will use the 'packing' scam to extract thousands of dollars worth of useless, grossly marked up options to your contract. Be prepared when you walked in to see the finance and insurance thousands of dollars worth of useless, grossly marked up options to your contract. Be prepared when you walked in to see the finance and insurance person. The dealer's strategy is to find a monthly payment you can afford and then pack in an expensive ($2200) extended service agreement, a KARR alarm system ($495), GAP insurance, and other totally useless(to you) options. Don't buy this stuff. Negotiate a good price on the vehicle you are buying and then ignore the packing spiel. Remember, it's your job to get the best deal; it's the F&I person's job to fill the dealer's bank account with your hard earned money. The F&I guy is NOT your friend. More
