I bought both of my Toyota vehicles from Ventura Toyota. I take them to the dealership on occasion for specialized maintenance. I took my Tacoma in for 90000 mile maintenance a couple of weeks ago and was I take them to the dealership on occasion for specialized maintenance. I took my Tacoma in for 90000 mile maintenance a couple of weeks ago and was SICKENED by the unprofessional service that was rendered. The service writer was excellent at his job. I left the truck first thing in the morning on Thursday and was told it would be ready by noon. I explained that I expected my truck to be CLEAN and free of greasy hand prints when I picked it up. Of course the "mechanic" found something that needed to be repaired and was covered by the extended warranty. I was told that it would all be done by 5:00pm that day. Later in the afternoon Carlo calls to tell me that they had to order a part and the truck wouldn't be ready til the next day. I said fine and I would get the truck either late Friday night or Saturday. When I picked up the truck, I immediately noted that there were several greasy hand prints on the front alloy wheels, but the rear wheels were not touched (wheel rotation was supposed to be in the maintenance). They saved the spark plugs as requested but there were 2 different brands??? I drove home angry and parked on my new concrete driveway and noticed antifreeze coming out of my truck. Took the truck the next day and was told "the mechanic" forgot to put a hose clamp back on. Later I'm driving down the street an turn on the A/C. The A/C light flashes and no A/C. Called Carlo and he said "the mechanic" must have forgotten to reconnect the plug???? By now I'm SMOKIN MAD. I can only imagine what else is messed up on my truck. Ventura Totota service department did give me some compensation, BUT that will never restore my confidence in their service department... NEVER.... I was even thinking about buying another car from them, but I'm over that. ***BOTTOM LINE: WHEN IT COMES TO SERVICE. GO ANYWHERE ELSE. DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID... More
I had shopped at Ventura Toyota before and wasn't impressed but I decided to give them another shot. Octavio and his sales team were highly recommend by a friend of mine and I went in to check out ne impressed but I decided to give them another shot. Octavio and his sales team were highly recommend by a friend of mine and I went in to check out new cars and of course service. I went in without my husband just to look and met with Efren. He was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He always mentioned that he would look out for my best interest and what I wanted. After test driving a car and getting the numbers I was off to talk about it with my husband. Efren and his manager gave me all my options and were NOT pushy like most other salesmen. They were sensitive to my needs and fully agreed on me talking to my husband before making my decision. Because I wasn't pushed during the conversation I was convinced with the sincerity of this sales team. I felt so good about everything and returned with my husband the same day. We were shown all the features of our new car and even had the Bluetooth feature set up for us. Efren and Octavio both came out to congratulate us and to thank us for ALLOWING them to earn our business again. I would go back to this dealership in s heartbeat and I'm happy to see salesmen that RESPECT women thruout the car buying process. More
While my experience was good, I do have to mention that when I was called back on the phone that morning by Mr. Simpson that my 'deal' of final price out the door of $15,500 was accepted, when it came time when I was called back on the phone that morning by Mr. Simpson that my 'deal' of final price out the door of $15,500 was accepted, when it came time to actually fill out the paperwork, the price was $15,700. I should have stuck to my guns but I let it go because at $15,700 I think I paid a very fair price for the car - I do think that was a little underhanded. Also, all the fanfare when a customer makes a purchase is a bit much. I could have lived without that. I don't think it is right to make a grown man act like a juvenile (your fine salesman being forced to parade around with a big sign). More

Charles was very nice and down to earth! He wen above and beyond my expectations. I even had my 3-year old with me and he was patient and worked around me having to keep him entertained. Luis Martinez was the absolute BEST to work with! He kept the process both fun and enjoyable from start to finish. Luis answered all of our questions and even helped us set up our Entune and Bluetooth before the process both fun and enjoyable from start to finish.
