I went to the Arlington Vandergriff Hyundai dealership last week on Monday and test drove a Hyundai Palisade. The dealership attempted to charge me for the repairs they did on the vehicle and ultimately removed the charge. I was informed by the sales consultant that I would not leave the lot without the issue being fixed because it was a safety issue. I picked up the car two days later, Wednesday, and the warning light came back on Friday evening. I called the dealership on Saturday morning and spoke to my sales consultant, and she advised the issue would be resolved at no cost to me. When I took the vehicle yesterday, Monday, to get serviced I was quoted almost $4k for repairs. I am starting to believe the repair charges the dealership tried to pin on me were never completed because I had to replace the air filter myself and that was on the list they provided. I called Vandergriff Hyundai several times to speak to my sales consultant, a sales manager, and the GM and was told none were available and I called at different times throughout the day. More
