Buyer Beware Why i chose the dealership: Positive past experience with Vandergriff brand, price, and dealership owned by Berkshire Hathaway (Warren Buffet) Car Bought: 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 When: Late Ju experience with Vandergriff brand, price, and dealership owned by Berkshire Hathaway (Warren Buffet) Car Bought: 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 When: Late July 2023. Worked with: Carlos (Sales Person), William (Sales Manager), Osama (Finance Manager) Rating of Dealership: Location - 4 stars, Office and amenities - 1 star, Process - 1 star, People - 1 star (except Carlos who gets 3 stars for his friendliness) Summary of Issues: 1. Process took over 5 hours. Ended at 10pm. Finance uses a very small iPad to sign documents which is hard to read - I made the mistake of not asking for paper copies - don't make the same mistake 2. Photograph everything you sign - the initial terms that i signed before talking to finance magically got shredded minutes after i signed and was no where to be found 3. Car was delivered to me with 9% battery. I got a promise to pay for charging to 100% that has still not been fulfilled (see photo). 4. Asked for a copy of contract several times while there and over email and was assured it would be emailed. Had to go to the dealership again to get a printed copy. See my #2 - photograph everything!!! 4. MPP (extended warranty) was added without knowledge (see photo). I emailed MPP and VH's Managing Partner Ryan Rios and since then there has been a response that it will be refunded which is still awaited. 5. They lost the title of my trade in and claimed after a few days after the transaction that i did not provide it to them 6. Zero follow up calls to check on experience. I have bought cars from used car dealership like Echopark that have done a much better job in follow ups and showing an interest in customers having a good experience. Only received 1 email from Sales Manager asking me to give them high ratings when Hyundai Survey comes in. Wont ask them to hold their breath on that not that it matters! I was almost ready to buy from Freeman Hyundai which in retrospect i should have done. Guess Vandergriff and Berkshire Hathaway brands dont have the same credibility and are now into shady tactics to make a couple of extra bucks from customers. More

I am happy about the service done to my car . My advisor Fabian made me understand what was going on with my car . It’s running smoothly and great .
