Have an issue with my front bumper on the driver si Bought a used 2016 Nissan Sentra with 6500 miles and just barely made my first payment 1 week ago. Have an issue with my front bumper on the driver side where it keeps flaring out like there is/was no fastener keeping the bracket together. I brought it in thinking I would be in/out in no time with such a small issue...this is where it turned into a circus. The service guy asks me "so what do you want me to do?" I was a little perplexed thinking perhaps that it's a Nissan and maybe he doesn't know how to fix it. So they come up with a plan to help me, while talking behind my back about me possibly running over curbs every chance I got, they send me to the body shop. I get to the body shop where they are asking if I want a quote for the repairs on my new/used vehicle with bumper/bumper warranty. After a brief discussion I learned that the dealership wasn't very knowledgeable about what the body shop actually covered since if it were a warranty issue, the dealership would have to drop the vehicle off themselves. So I go back to the dealership and meet the used car sales manager "Abdullah" who promptly tells me, his very first words actually, without looking at my vehicle, is that he sold the car "as is"...huge red flag went up and I felt as if I was dealing with shady car salesmen. So after they went and "fixed" my issue after telling them in no uncertain terms that if it's a clip or fastener, what is the big deal and why does it seem like no one wants to help me. So I leave with my bumper "fixed". Fast forward two days, the bumper has flared again and it's even worse than before. So I know I don't want to talk to Abdullah anymore since he needs to go back to whatever customer service class is given to salesman for vandergriff, so I talk to his boss on Monday (sadly can't remember his name) but he calls me and we talk and he listens to my complaints but sounds like I need to hurry up my call cause he has other things to attend to. He tells me "I'll call you sometime this week to set something up for my guy to look at your vehicle probably on Thursday." That was last week on Monday, today is Wednesday of the following week, and I brought the vehicle back to service and was told to come back tomorrow and talk to someone else. By far, the worst customer service crew I've ever encountered. It's not that they aren't nice and seem to be empathetic to your issue, it's just that they for the lack of a better phrase, just really don't care once you signed the contract for their vehicle or they are just so un-knowledgeable that they don't know how to handle problems. So to wrap it up, either the previous owner got over on them by not disclosing something that was overlooked by vandergriff's people or vandergriff did not disclose something to me which after dealing with their customer service, I feel as if they were trying to screw me DO NOT BUY a used vehicle from here. More
