I have been shopping at different dealers in the Vancouver area for a few months and each one I went to it felt like each salesperson I ran into wanted to force me into a car that day and did not wa Vancouver area for a few months and each one I went to it felt like each salesperson I ran into wanted to force me into a car that day and did not want to listen to my needs, situation, or financial standing. I am a single lady in her 50s, I live on my own and have never boughten a new vehicle, I.e. I drive a 1983 Honda. I went into Vancouver Hyundai Last week and worked with Scott Allen, and it was right about closing and raining and cold, but he was so kind to help me anyway and take me on a test drive with zero pressure. A coupe days later I went to the Chevrolet dealership and before the test drive the salesman tried getting me to buy a car, and yes he got my payments where I wanted but failed to explain anything else to me, and it did not feel right. So I left and went back to Vancouver Hyundai on Sunday, Scott was busy with another customer and had me work with one of his colleagues Jake Wilson, I was very leary at first with working with someone else other than Scott because he was very nice and polite. But low and behold, Jake was just as kind and gentle with me, just as Scott was. He took me on a test drive, made sure I liked everything about the car. I was very anxious when it came to sitting down and talking about the financial part of it, but Jake walked me through all the numbers and explained everything to me. Neither of the gentlemen were pushy or forceful, Even watching Scott with the other customers I could see he and Jake were very genuine. These are the type of men I would buy a car from no matter what cars they sell because I can tell they take very good care of their customer and take pride in themselves. After everything was said and done, even the Sales Manager Khalil came out and thanked me for my business and made sure the salesmen took care of me and gave me his card and reassured me to know if I had any concerns that I had his direct number. Long story short, I ended up buying my Venue and love it and love all the nice people at that Dealership, it was very pleasant and stress free!! Thank you Jake and Scott, you have earned a customer for life. More
We worked with Jacob Wilson, Many times over the years, and follow him to each dealership he works at. He is the best and nicest Sales person we have worked with. My wife and I have been working with Jake Wilson to find the perfect Genesis GV80 for her and nothing less than what she wants, and after two years we were finally able to get it. We waited to see if the le the perfect Genesis GV80 for her and nothing less than what she wants, and after two years we were finally able to get it. We waited to see if the level of service we received from Jake would carry on after the sale. Generally, the sales people we have had in the past at other Luxury dealerships (Acura, Lexus, Lincoln, and GMC) would only worry about the day of the sale and never hear from them again or if you do not buy that day they do not want anything to do with you. Jake has stayed with us even after we said we were not buying that day and up to the day we purchased it 2 years later, he has come in on his days off to help us with questions we had (there is a lot to learn on these advanced cars, I do not know how they remember it all!) he even came out to our house to help us connect our garage door openers to the GV80 on his day off. That is the level of customer service we have never got anywhere before. My wife wanted to go back to Lincoln until she met Jake. The level of professionalism he has is something you do not see in the younger folks that you would expect at a Luxury Car Dealership. Even after two years, he still remembered our names and our kids names, and everything. We are so glad to be part of the Vancouver Dealership group family! We are already looking at another car to replace mine. Furthermore, we are so glad we got the Genesis over the Lincoln or Lexus, the level of quality exudes Luxury far and above anyone else, along the all the kind staff that represent their dealerships. I was in last weekend looking at a Tuscon N-line. I called in and spoke with Mike in their internet dept, and they stated they did not have one in stock, I was skeptical seeing as their website said I called in and spoke with Mike in their internet dept, and they stated they did not have one in stock, I was skeptical seeing as their website said they had one, and they were probably just as confused as I was looking at their own website considering there were no photos of their new cars at all. Long story short, we decided to drive in and see what they had. Come to find out, as we were greeted by Jake (from state farm) Wilson (like the volleyball), he has a great way of making it easy for customers to remember his name by association, and he knew exactly where the Tuscon N-line was on their grounds. He knew everything about the car and was not pushy at all, he really made us feel like we knew him for years!!! We almost bought it just because he was so knowledgeable and polite to my wife, brother-in-law, myself, and our daughter, who can be a handful at times. Our only hold back from buying it is we really have our hearts set on the crimson red color. Thanks for people like Jake!! He made it seem like all sales people are not the same and there are genuine salesmen like him out there!! More
We met Peter Gregg and are we ever glad we did. We leased a 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe because of his knowledge, support and friendliness. What a terrific vehicle. that point, which I guess didn't happen. She got home and two days later opened the trunk for the first time and there was a large amount of mold. We immediately called the dealer and asked to speak with the two days later opened the trunk for the first time and there was a large amount of mold. We immediately called the dealer and asked to speak with the sales manager and were told that there wouldn't be a sales manager in until Friday (this was Wednesday) but to bring it in Friday and someone could vacuum it out. This didn't seem reasonable to us and we know Hyundai has a 3 day exchange policy so we immediately drove up to the dealership. My husband was told they can't exchange it..... we were finally told that they didn't know what they could do but that they'd reach out to us the next day. I called right away in the morning and they said that they could exchange it but we should wait until Friday. We didn't because then we'd be outside of the 3 day window Hyundai allows and we were certain this dealer wouldn't do the right thing in this situation. When we got back they had sold all of the models with the same options that our daughter had wanted. So she had a choice... downgrade considerably, keep a moldy vehicle or pay another 1750 for the model closest to hers. I pointed out to them that they had already charged us $2k more than their website advertised and that it wasn't exactly our fault they didn't have any similar vehicles so they should do the right thing and give her what was closest (which was the upgrade). Their response was that Hyundai only required them to exchange for equal or lesser value vehicles. I'm sure Hyundai also expects them to inspect their vehicles before they're sold which obviously didn't happen. Any way, we ended up just paying the extra. When we were signing the new papers the sales manager made a comment about how it was a good thing the vehicle she returned hadn't been titled yet because they could sell it as new now. Buyer beware... this dealer will NOT do the right thing or go above and beyond to have a happy customer, they charge more than they advertise and will only do the minimum that Hyundai requires of them, even of they're in the wrong. Picture of her trunk attached. More
