Retaliation is alive and well at Vancouver Ford! On 3-22-2022 my husband, Matt Bishop, and I had our vehicle serviced at VF. We were advised the service would take an hour from the time our Mustang On 3-22-2022 my husband, Matt Bishop, and I had our vehicle serviced at VF. We were advised the service would take an hour from the time our Mustang was dropped it off. The vehicle was checked in, Matt walked to a coffee shop, (22 min round trip walking not including order & wait time) and returned to the dealership's waiting room. After a few minutes Matt noticed our Mustang going back for service. Matt inquired on the delay of the vehicle getting serviced as he had a time frame to which he had to pick up our small children and couldn't be late. When Matt questioned the delay the service tech was rude and combative. As the encounter became more heated another employee injected herself into the conversation and she called Matt an "A**@ole" in front of employees and customers. Matt asked to speak to a manager, was told no until he insisted several times. Finally, the "Director of Fixed Operations" arrived. Matt asked to speak privately rather than on the floor of the dealership to which he was denied. Matt shared his experience and frustrations and how he was sworn at however, the "Director of Fixed Operations" didn't seem to care. In fact, he asked Matt if he "was always this way." Eventually Matt was forced to leave the dealership and wait outside in the rain. Matt was told Vancouver Ford didn't need our business and we should cancel the Mach-E Mustang Premium we had on reserve. The vehicle was then returned to Matt, without any paperwork, we are not even sure if it was serviced. After playing phone tag on April 5 the President of the dealership, Mr. Creedon, and Matt were able to connect via the phone. (I was listening too) The experience, humiliation, frustration, harassment, and abuse was expressed to Mr. Creedon. He shared how hostile the employees were and how the employees escalated the events rather than deescalating. Our intention when speaking with Mr. Creedon was to provide constructive criticism in hopes it could be used as a learning tool. Mr. Creedon's agenda appeared to be repeatedly pointing out the fact that our car was out of the dealership within the hours' time frame, so what was really the issue. Mr. Creedon stated his employees denied speaking to Matt in the way they did and stated he believed his employees over Matt. When Matt shared, we filed a formal complaint with the corporate office of Ford Motor Mr. Creedon himself became agitated and advised Matt "he too didn't need or want our business" and that HE himself was going to cancel OUR order for the Mach-E Premium on order since last November. This is retaliation at its best. Matt advised Mr. Creedon several times we did NOT want our order cancelled and we would seek legal counsel should Mr. Creedon cancel the order. Mr. Creedon reiterated he was going to cancel our order regardless. This vehicle was pre-ordered with a deposit of $500.00. Matt is a firefighter, we have 7 kids together, 5 living in our home, this vehicle was going to assist in reducing our expenses for our family. With inflation going up and all America experiencing hard times, this vehicle was a way for our family to look to the future to reduce expenses and take part in reducing our footprint on the planet. We spent months researching all brands of fully electric cars but went with Ford due to what the brand stands for. Ford is an American company that stands for America. We are a military family; we believe in our country and have purchased Ford vehicles in the past. Nothing surrounding this situation is the Ford we, our family or friends have come to know in the past. Mr. Creedon used his power as the President to cancel the order of a vehicle we have had on hold for months, a vehicle you cannot order anymore. And even if we could, the delay and the additional expense would put our family out of the market for it - all because Matt was sworn at, embarrassed, humiliated, and shared his experience with the President of the dealership. We wanted Mr. Creedon to use this as a learning tool, not punishment to our family More

Only hard part was the wait for the truck arrive to the dealership. I know I bothered Steve my salesman a lot but he was super friendly and helpful. Even the sales managers were friendly and helpful. Too bad they are so far from where I live or I would use these folks for all my service and vehicles. More
