Miscommunication 2001 Dodge Durango towed in Sunday Jan. 26. I reported the car stalled, wouldn't restart. When it restarted the engine surged like I was pumping gas 2001 Dodge Durango towed in Sunday Jan. 26. I reported the car stalled, wouldn't restart. When it restarted the engine surged like I was pumping gas pedal which I wasn't and stalled again. Tow truck driver got it to start, idle and run but I took it in anyway. I reported all the above, service writer wrote Customer says check engine light is on. 4 days later they got to looking at it. Report: It needs 2 sensors, $1,100. I said that's what the car is worth. He said he can work with me but the parts are $500 each. I checked on line: $32 each. When I picked up car his written estimate was $400+/-. More
