The price is high. Diagnoses should be free. Especially when the issue is common and you likely already know what causes it. It's a bad faith tactic to lock a customer into using the dealer to repair the issue. This is an especially unfair practice where many issues require a dealer to diagnose them. I don't care that others also charge the fee. Just because others are being unfair, doesn't make it ok for your dealership to be unfair. You'll earn a lot more customer loyalty by being honest and straightforward rather than by playing these games. I'm a lawyer. Yes, there are plenty of lawyers who will charge you to "diagnose" your issue and come up with a plan of action. Not me and not my firm. We take the risk and the financial hit to do what is right for our clients and potential clients by hearing them out and offering feedback. I don't see why an honest dealership cannot do the same.

False information. I was given a LOANER car for the time being. I turned it in when you guys said I can pick up my car to take to another dealership. When I handed the keys to the loaner over, I was told that I have a $6k bill as a charge for “rental vehicle.” There was no physical paperwork given to me for this, so there is no bill existing. It came off your lot, for free, no worry about mileage. Now you guys can’t find my vehicle when I need to get personal belongings out of it. What’s your next step in this procedure since I’m not paying your bill? I’m sure the court can settle this once and for all, as my attorney is at work on this case. Thank you
