The experience started off wonderfully. The price of the car was great, the people we so nice until we got to finance. We bought a warranty not knowing if it was a good deal or not. When I spoke with my ins car was great, the people we so nice until we got to finance. We bought a warranty not knowing if it was a good deal or not. When I spoke with my insurance company the warranty was $2,000 more than their same policy. This is when it all went downhill and the true customer service came out from the finance guy BJ. I called and he said he would cancel the policy for me but do not expect it to be soon cause he was busy. I quoted the contract saying I needed to send a cancellation letter and he said no all I had to do was let him take care of it. I emailed the manager saying I was sending a certified letter per the contract and wanted to know who to contact to make sure BJ cancelled the order. Next, I get an email saying actually I have to come in to do the paperwork myself. When I arrive, no one comes to talk to me but a salesman gives me a brochure for the warranty company with the phone number and told to call them myself cause they suddenly can not find the paperwork. BJ was rude on the phone constantly speaking over and interrupting me. He told me that what I read on the contract was wrong about getting the refund once I cancelled. He said I had to pay off my car plus the warranty for the five year loan and afterwards then the money would be refunded to me in a check once I paid the car off.Lies, lies, and a huge runaround. Turns out the form is online to the public and the refund will go straight to my loan once cancelled. I have 30 days to do a flat cancellation and this is was a way to make the customer give up or be late on doing paperwork. Everyone in sales is wonderful when they are happy but I give this place a BAD rating and say do not waste your time. The finance department brings the whole place down. Customer service should be about a long term relationship and knowing that I would have come back in the future and recommended them if the company had not been so rude. More

I traded in two late model cars for two new 2013 Hyundai vehicles. I closed both deals in the same day about a week ago and I still feel like they were great deals. Chris and Samuel Anthony worked with me on the trade-in allowances and took the time to make sure I got all rebates I was eligible for. I started with a Costco price on the new vehicles, so that's a given -- beyond that is where dealerships can really differ. I also understand that Chris and Samuel Anthony's integrity and professionalism in these dealings are possible only to the extent that they are allowed and encouraged by Van Hyundai management and ownership, so my thanks to he whole organization. I found this car that i was interested in on "autotrader.com" and called up the dealership where the car was. Mike Abelino answered the phone and was very friendly and courteous. When i told him that i don't have a vehicle to drive down to the dealership, he promptly offered to come and pick me up saying that a taxi ride would cost me a lot. It was not an expensive car(just under 10K), but the treatment i got was as though i was buying the most expensive car in their showroom. They were also very efficient with their paper work and i went from a walk-in to a car owner in less than 2 hours !!!. It was easy to deal with them and i compare my experience with a Mercedez dealership few days ago. Folks at Mercedez were not easy to deal with and it was painful to even negotiate a simple $500 reduction and it took weeks. That's when i gave up and decided on Hyundai. The Hyundai car i purchased was in immaculate condition and i'm happy owning the car from a trusted and good dealership. If you ever get a chance to be at Van Hyundai, ask for Mike (as he says it - he is the only Mike there :), one of a kind )) More
