Service advisor was nice. The amount of items they said were wrong with my 2yr old car were false. They said the fromt radar was out and would not file it under warranty because it was fully broke. funny thing is, i took it to a place for a second opinion and it was not fully broke it just needed recalibration. They also said the sub frame was bent and needed to be replaced, funny this is i took it to get a second opinion and nothing was bent. they also said the uncarriage cover was missing, which meant they never replaced it the last time they worked on the car but yet still wanted to charge me to replace it. So the $7k estimate that they said was wrong with my car turned out to be less than $1k at the second opinion shop. Be very careful of this place, they will take advantage of you and won’t turn anything in on warranty when it is clearly a warranty issue. Heck even Hyundai told them to turn it in on warranty and they told them they weren’t going to do it. Calibration is under warranty, for the record! More

Overall, I had a great experience with Van Hyundai. I was helped by Laura and Alex the finance person. They worked so hard to get me into a nice and affordable car. WOW! I cannot say enough good things about Van Hyundai—but I’ll try 🤣 After losing my car to a botched theft attempt, I’d spent the last few weeks loo I cannot say enough good things about Van Hyundai—but I’ll try 🤣 After losing my car to a botched theft attempt, I’d spent the last few weeks looking for a new car, and it’s been nothing short of awful. Every dealership I’d visited uses shady, bait & switch tactics to get you in the door, then they tack on up-to, and sometimes over, 50% markups in dealer add-ons and xx fees. The worst one was Toyota of Richardson. Long story short, I got there, loved the car, then the pushy, super-aggressive sales manager comes out and tries to pressure me into buying this pre-owned car for $10k over the asking price. That was 3 hours of my life I won’t get back. Lol Anyway, I was about to give up when I was contacted by sales manager Alex W. from Van Hyundai in Carrollton (a Berkshire Hathaway dealer). I guess it’s true what they say about BH dealers, because this was the smooooothest, fastest, most stress-free dealership experience I’ve ever had. Alex W., listened to me and worked with me on the numbers, and my sales rep, Lorenzo, answered every possible question I had about a few vehicles—then, they made me a great deal on the car I wanted, for the OTD price I wanted, and they never once pressured me or tried adding on any unnecessary fees or markups. And y’all, the best part was, once we started the paperwork, I was out of there in TWENTY MINUTES. Car was fully detailed, gassed up, and waiting for me. The car needed some minor servicing, and the dealership is closed on Sundays, but first thing this morning, I got a call from the service team. We got everything scheduled for this week AND they’re coming to me to get it done. Seriously, I can’t say enough good things about this experience. I’ve heard great things about Sewell and Park Place, too, but if you’re not looking for a luxury vehicle, check out Van Hyundai—specifically, Alex W. & Lorenzo—those guys will take care of you. More
