We were able to find a 2019 Sonata at your dealership which fits our needs and Lou Margetis was extremely helpful in explaining the features of the new model. We love Hyundai Sonatas and was determined to replace our wrecked one with a new one. Lou explained the technology upgrades, allowed us an ample test drive and made the entire experience very pleasant. Danny Grady was equally helpful in assisting us to navigate the financing paperwork and contract requirements. The entire buying experience was unstressful and quite pleasant. More

Lou is an excellent salesman without pressuring customer. Excellent product knowledge on the vehicles! If you want to play games and be jerked around, just come to Van Hyundai In the last week I have signed papers at this dealership TWICE for two different vehicles for my daughter. The first vehicle wa to Van Hyundai In the last week I have signed papers at this dealership TWICE for two different vehicles for my daughter. The first vehicle was sold to me by Alma and Chris, and not only did it NOT have BlueLink capabilities as I had been assured prior to the sale, it also wound up having some serious transmission issues, which I didn't realize until after driving the vehicle a longer distance than the test drive route. Fortunately they didn't give me any problems when returning it. Since Alma had left the dealership's employ, I was next put with Lou. We found another vehicle for my daughter last Saturday, but since Lou had other customers and kept disappearing on us, and the vehicle had yet to be inspected and serviced, we decided we would come back at noon today and I could give them the trade vehicle and they would give me the check for the difference between the trade value and the car being purchased's value, along with the keys to the car for my daughter. This morning I called Lou to confirm the check and the car will be ready at noon like we agreed. He said he would call me back by 11:00 to confirm. 11:00 arrives, then 11:30 arrives...and nothing, so I text the manager Chris. A while later still no response from either of them so I call Katie the office girl (who is super sweet btw). Then at 1:30 Lou finally calls me after me leaving messages everywhere, and says he had no idea I was supposed to get a check back??? Either he was not paying attention to the papers he had me sign on Saturday, or he was standing in front of his boss and had to lie so he wouldn't look bad for promising something he didn't confirm first. Either way I don't appreciate the games. Upon finally coming in today, long after I had been told everything would be ready, and going into finance (with Jose who is also awesome), the first thing I am asked is that I use a signature DIFFERENT than my legal signature because you can't read my name. I said no, that had been my legal signature for many years and I'm not changing it. Their finance manager Will comes out and tries to tell me the DMV won't accept it and I tell him how funny that sounds since the IRS, the bank, the State of Texas and everyone else accepts it, and it's what's on my drivers license too, so there's no way I'm changing my legal signature for his liking. Another 30 minutes or so later we finally get to sign documents. Then, even though they had my drivers license copy and a fully signed affidavit with regard to the trade vehicle, I was now told that since I didn't have the title with me that no check. Kinda funny. I used to do DMV title work. They were going to have possession of the vehicle, and all the signed paperwork for the trade, PLUS the affidavit and they wouldn't cut a check. So in essence, what is absolutely ample for the DMV isn’t good enough for Van Hyundai. Kinda funny they pretend to require: 1. A signature other than your actual legal signature; and 2. Extra things even the DMV doesn’t even require with all they had. Yeah...that's enough games. Unless you have unlimited free time and enjoy being jerked around, don't bother coming here. More

Buyer Beware of Used Car Pricing Practices In this reviewer's overall opinion, please be aware that this dealer practices what many would call unethical tactics in sales pricing and listing a " In this reviewer's overall opinion, please be aware that this dealer practices what many would call unethical tactics in sales pricing and listing a "base" price without any of their "mandatory" charges for things you may not want and certainly are questionable. Example was a Blk/Blk 2017 Tuscon listed on Cars.com at $17,288.00, this vehicle presented fairly well, we were told the Hyundai warranty was transferable. The mileage checked out, the car was from up north with a signs of being in a road salt environment under the hood, but overall nice. I must state the actual "sales person" was great. The sales manager upon negotiation basically stated the "out the door price was 21,000+ due to a $1000.00 charge for their "Hyundai Certification" (you mean you are basically charging to transfer the warranty though you advertise that it is certified?), then there was $1990.00 in for some type of wonder treatment for paint to keep bird poop off, and for the inside to keep down stains as well as a questionable vehicle tracking system. Then of course taxes and the usual overcharge for vehicle registration services etc. In my opinion, I cannot believe the Texas DMV would even allow this kind of practice from a dealer. In closing the price online is nowhere near the price that they will try to stick you for, items in my opinion that are questionable at best and may have privacy issues for you in this "tracking system". I can only express my opinion on the matter based on an actual experience at this dealership, if I could give a half star overall, I would but that is not the rating system. So in closing, if you take the price advertised on used cars on their site, add about $4000.00 and in my overall experience and opinion, you should be close to the actual sales price. Our cash buying business will go to a Hyundai dealer that we have a much better opinion of..... More
