Great experience!! I am from out of town and a bit nervous about site unseen. Tim sent 50+ photos early on and answered my 1000 questions which really helped. I knew what I wanted (very specific new car) so I called and asked for a Sales Manager. Tim G. picked up the phone and was very helpful. I told him what I was looking for. He said that he didn't have that particular vehicle in stock but could find it for me if we could agree on price. So long story short we came to an agreement and he found my Sonata Limited for me. I filled out a credit application on-line. He set me up with a Sales man named Kevin. He set up a time to pick up the car. Everything went very smoothly and I am very Happy with the service I received. I would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone I know. More
Recently purchased a used vehicle from Van Horn FDL. Tom (salesman) was great and helpful. Tim (finance) was the biggest liar ever. After purchasing the vehicle, we went in the next day to cancel the exte (salesman) was great and helpful. Tim (finance) was the biggest liar ever. After purchasing the vehicle, we went in the next day to cancel the extended warranty and was told by Tim that our interest rate will be 3% higher. According to him, buying the extended warranty makes our vehicle a certified pre owned. If we cancel the extended warranty, then the car is no longer considered a certified pre owned and the interest will go up. To be honest, I don't even think Van Horn FDL has a cpo program. We will never buy a vehicle from them again. More
Van Horn Hyundai in Fond du Lac was the first dealership I visited when I started my car search nearly two months ago. After visiting 3 other dealerships, I ultimately returned to Van Horn because I felt li I visited when I started my car search nearly two months ago. After visiting 3 other dealerships, I ultimately returned to Van Horn because I felt like they respected my wishes in purchasing a car and let me be in just as much control of the purchase as they were as the seller. I was always greated immediately upon entering the dealership and was no more than about 3 steps in the door on my first visit when Tim LaBelle contacted me. Tim was the salesperson who helped me every time I visited and when it finally came time to purchase my vehicle, it was Tim once again who helped me. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and many salespeople would constantly interact with me even when Tim had to step away momentarily. Throughout the entire process the quality of work was great and all my questions were answered and my needs were considered. From the first time I worked with Tim he always made sure to say, "When it's time to make the purchase, we'll take care of you and do what we need to do to make you happy." I didn't realize how much he meant this until after I already put a deposit down on a car at a different dealership, came over to Van Horn, said how much I was willing to pay for the vehicle and he told me they could do that. That meant a great deal to me as the other dealership refused to work with me on price. Needless to say, I ended up retracting my deposit at the other dealership and chose Van Horn. I definitely had a great car buying experience. More
