Tom worked very well with my mother and I when we were purchasing our vehicle, he knowledgeable with the vehicles, and walked us through from looking at the vehicle, to taking the vehicle home. Kelly was great to work with! I worked with another gentleman for financing and he was great too. Unfortunately, I can't quite remember his name. The experience was fine until it came time to buy the vehicle. It took 3 hours to get through paperwork!! I was walk-in business. I was there to buy a vehicle. 3 hours of my time to get that done is vehicle. It took 3 hours to get through paperwork!! I was walk-in business. I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership less than a year and a half ago. I also purchased the extended warranty. The vehicle had problems from the start. They could not find the keyless entry keys t a year and a half ago. I also purchased the extended warranty. The vehicle had problems from the start. They could not find the keyless entry keys that were promised in the ad for the vehicle and description and made me for over money out of my own pocket for these. They were also supposed to get me the keyless entry code for the suv and failed to do so. I called more than 3 times and could not get any help from the sales person or the office manager and finally gave up. The floating running boards failed the first week I had the car and had to travel an hour and back to get fixed and then again quit working entirely a month later. The transmission began to fail right as the warranty expired and I called in to see what could be done, again had to travel and hour back and forth only to deal with the less than polite service manager who argued with me the entire time about the price and what I needed to pay and what would nt be covered, which was most of the repair work and stated to me that they would cover the diagnostic only due to the sales agents mistake over the phone but would not cover any of the repair work, which is not what the sales rep Aaron said over the phone. We were visiting my mother who lives in Fond du Lac (we live near Superior) and after several hours of talking, decided to kill a little time. I saw Van Horn Hyundai on the corner and decided to stop in just to look around. Tom Vang met me as I stepped out of my car. I told him he'd be wasting his time as I had no intentions of buying a car. It seemed to not matter to him as he gave me a grand tour of the inventory. I was extremely impressed with Tom's explanation of all the vehicles. A bit later I talked to my wife, explaining I was just looking at cars to kill some time but was quite impressed with the Hyundai. She wanted to see so we returned. After 20 minutes of speaking with Tom, we decided to buy the Elantra. I am not an impulse buyer but Tom's selling ability convinced us we needed this car. After we bought it, I feared I would regret buying something without researching it but that's not the case. We are ecstatic with this car, getting 42 mpg on our return trip home the next day. We love this car which is very unusual as we always considered a car as transportation and nothing more. Thanks to Van Horn and a special thanks to Tom. We drove about 75 get to the dealership on a Saturday. We had a couple different cars that we were interested in looking at. We ended up looking at a third car that we really liked. Even though the salesteam was obviously really busy, we were always taken care of, and had the opportunity to test drive a few cars. We never felt pressure to make a purchase. In fact they let us take the car we really liked out to lunch. That was a nice way to get some time to think over our decision, and get more familairized with the vehicle. When we did decide to make a purchase, there was some waiting involved, because, as mentioned previously, it was a really busy day. The wait turn out to be quite pleasant however, as we were actively engaged in conversation with Aaron Collar. Richard Reed was also a pleasure to work with, and was very efficient and to the point. He seemed to have a sharp understanding of our questions almost before we even asked. We've purchased a few cars from different dealships, and usually it feels like a painful experience, followed by buyers remorse. This was an entirely different experience. We left feeling like we got the car we wanted for the price we wanted, and we were taken car of better than we would have ever expected by Jake, Aaron and Richard. Thanks for the great experience!
