Denny was very helpful. This was my first time in buying a vehicle. He helped me with every question I had and made me feel very comfortable and confident in my decision. This was a new experience for me which with anything can be a bit stressful, however I felt very relaxed through the process because of his help and knowledge. He was in contact with me after the purchase to check how things were going and I thought that was a great personal touch. The dealership was also a pleasant atmosphere. When I came looking for a vehicle, they were very friendly and had an attitude that I appreciated (basically I was able to look around without feeling forced into anything right away) I would recommend this dealership and Denny to anyone looking for a new/used vehicle. My husband and I were in on a very busy Saturday. We were greeted right away and Brandon took the time to answer all our questions without making us feel rushed. We test-drove 2 cars. Once we decided on the model and options, he found the 2013 Elantra coupe we wanted and had it ready to go Monday morning! The financial part of it with Tim went smoothly. When I picked it up, Brandon explained everything on it thoroughly. It's quite different from my 2004 Sonata! Over all, we had a great experience with him and the dealership. We chose Van Horn Hyundai again because of the positive experience last time. They came through again. More
I came from Milwaukee to inquire about a car that I seen on this dealer's website and the service I recieved was fast and friendly. Together, Kevin Miller along with some others did a wonderful job in seein on this dealer's website and the service I recieved was fast and friendly. Together, Kevin Miller along with some others did a wonderful job in seeing that I was well taking care of while at the site as well as keeping communications up before finalizing the sale. My overall experience was great and I would definitely recommend this dealer to a friend. I hear there will be a new location for this dealer in the Milwaukee area, which I'll be excited to see and perhaps visit when helping to search for a car for my sister. More
Got my Mercedes from this dealer. Sale person stated that there is nothing wrong with the car. Pretty soon I found that there is a mechanical issue. Took car to local mechanic shop and they found problem wit there is nothing wrong with the car. Pretty soon I found that there is a mechanical issue. Took car to local mechanic shop and they found problem without even opening it. When I asked question about condition of this car answer was pretty rude: "we are not going to open up car to look inside". I assume sale person new that there is a problem and did not tell or this dealership has very bad mechanic on stuff who knows nothing about cars. More
This was my first car buying experience and Brandon and Tim made it a great one. I loved the fact that I got to test drive the car alone so I was able to see how the car really handled and there was no for Tim made it a great one. When I got back to the dealership I had a huge smile on my face and Brandon knew that was the vehicle I wanted. He worked with me on the price and we came to a decision that was agreeable for both parties. Tim let me know about an extended warranty that I qualified for which is perfect because I travel often for work. So, having a bumper to bumper warranty up to 120,000 miles is a big relief. More
the main complaints that my husband and I have is first the length of time it took to get my new car. first we were told a few days and it ended up being three weeks. during that time we considered cancell the length of time it took to get my new car. first we were told a few days and it ended up being three weeks. during that time we considered cancelling the order. we were told by Aaron we would be compensated for the wait but that did not happen. then when we got the call that the car had arrived by the time we got to the dealer and saw Aaron he was about to leave so we felt that the whole final buying of our new car was very rushed.In fact Aaron left and handed us over to Kevin who was dealing with something or someone else and really did not have the time for us in our opinion. Both sales men were very nice and when we saw Tim in the financing he was also very nice but could not help us with any of the questions on compensation as that was between us and Aaron. Overall we do love our car and are very happy with it, however we had been looking at a 2013 Malibu at our local dealer. the benefits there would have been a dealer right in our town (we live in Columbus) and they offer free oil changes for the lifetime that you own the vehicle.We came to the Fon Du lac dealership on the recommendation of a neighbor who also told us about a $500 referal which we were not told about. lastly when we got the car home my husband noticed some scratches under the front bumper which looked like had been made when the car was loaded onto the trailer when it was being delivered. he called and left a message with Aaron to tell him about that and the compensation we have owned our car for 2 weeks now and have not heard from him. More
