We have EXCELLENT CREDIT, spent a bunch of money and we could have gone anywhere. We unfortunately chose VAN HORN FDL we wont make that mistake again!! Only to be lied to and taken advantage of. Hyundai Sonata purchase Dealt with Beau in sales and found him to be unreliable, We requested a CarFax and was provided an AutoCheck instead at the time of signing papers (w Dealt with Beau in sales and found him to be unreliable, We requested a CarFax and was provided an AutoCheck instead at the time of signing papers (well after our request). Also asked him for a copy of all the papers that were signed and was assured they would be in the vehicle when it was ready for us. The vehicle was not washed (inside or out) as he told us it would be and the papers we requested were not in the vehicle. We believe we were not given the CarFax intentionally because as we were signing papers we found out the vehicle we were about to purchase (Hyundai Sonata) had a Lemon tag attached to it as well as structural damage. Evan in finance made light of both issues merely telling us they were minor issues. We reluctantly signed the papers because we had been there much longer than we planned with 3 small kids. The next day we were quite concerned about our purchase and had the vehicle inspected and it passed inspection. I did place a follow up call to Tim Goeckerman in management and found him to be helpful. Unfortunately, our overall experience was not good enough for us to return to this dealership. More

Worst Sales Experience My husband and I have bought many vehicles in our years but this was by far the worst sales experience ever....We really like the car we bought but wa My husband and I have bought many vehicles in our years but this was by far the worst sales experience ever....We really like the car we bought but was taken for hundreds of dollars with a Lux Car package that we had no knowledge of them even doing till it was time to get our car and they had apparently already put it on the vehicle.....At that point we should have walked out but we really like the car. By the time we had made our sales purchase it was late the place was closing in 15 min and we were rushed through the finance part so fast it made my head spin, we wanted to go home and come back the next day for the car but the sale person insisted we do the deal right now. Well when we addressed the lux package and said "We did not approve this" they said oh it only took us 20min to apply it you'll really like it, you need this. Come to find it out it take 2 to 3 hours to do the Lux Coat... So because we had been FORCED to pay hundreds of dollars they did it over....OMG night and day difference..Which come to point....THEY NEVER PUT IT ON IN THE FIRST PLACE WHEN WE BOUGHT THE CAR. After that we canceled the warranty with them and anything else extra they sneaked on our contract... When I called the cancel the warranty the Head Sale guys said to me in his exact works "I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IT, YOU BOUGHT A DODGE, ITS GONNA BREAK DOWN, YOUR GONNA NEED IT. Nice..uh? Way to stand behind the vehicles on your lot. I'm writing this so that others do not get taken like we did...Read the fine print very carefully and be ready to walk out... More

It's just a bad way to do business to stop returning phone calls after the paperwork is signed, but that was our experience - paperwork was signed, and then the lies and run-around began. More
