I bought a 2016 hyundai Tucson in 2018. I was told it was a manufacturer buyback. First customer was unhappy. It was bought back and a computer module recall was put out and car was fixe I was told it was a manufacturer buyback. First customer was unhappy. It was bought back and a computer module recall was put out and car was fixed and updated. I've had the car all these years and the performance got worse. Lagging when accelerating after stopping. Losing or burning oil which there's a lawsuit for that hyundai won't address. But, my problem with Van Horn is that they did not inform me that manufacturer buyback means lemon! I went to trade in my car a few weeks ago and was told it has a salvage title and cut my trade in value down by half! Carfax reports says it's a lemon. I called van horn and no one has called me back. Very disappointed and lesson learned. I will never buy a manufacturer buyback vehicle again. Update.. dealership did call back and offered an apology.
