I thought that there would be no chance for us to trade in our old vehicle because we were so upside down on it. But Jim Farrell worked hard on getting my husband and myself approved for a newer used vehic in our old vehicle because we were so upside down on it. It took a couple of weeks for us to make the deal happen but it was definately worth the wait. I love my new vehicle! More

We found Tom to be extremely accomodating and very knowledgeable about the car we were interested in. We came to him with a limited budget and LOTS of questions. He thoroughly answered all of our questions and took the time to explain the pros and cons of lease versus buying a new vehicle. He and his manager worked with us to find a car that was comfortably affordable for us. This is our second time buying a vehicle with Van Horn. We came back again because we know that we can trust them. They gave us a fair price for our trade in this week. They also did this with our used Sonata! We have utilized their service department for our Sonata and found them to be more reasonably priced than what we could find here in Manitowoc. And it certainly is nice to sit in the waiting area and watch T.v. and eat complimentary snacks while our vehicle was having the oil changed! We positively LOVE our new Elantra and for certain will be back to Van Horn when we need another vehicle! More
Made an appointment for 8:30 AM for an oil change. Arrived 15 minutes early. My wife was told it would take 45 minutes and she waited in the wait room. 45 minutes for an oil change? Plus. she didn't g Arrived 15 minutes early. My wife was told it would take 45 minutes and she waited in the wait room. 45 minutes for an oil change? Plus. she didn't get the car back until 10:30. No apologies. No reason why. When she'd go to ask what was taking so long she wasn't given straight answers. When she went back around 10:30 to complain, she was told "oh the car is ready." Ridiculous and unacceptable. Nobody even went into the waiting room to tell her the car was done. My wife wasted a whole morning getting a simple oil change. This is the last time I ever send my car there to be worked on and believe me, I told everyone I work with at a very big insurance company located in the city. Others commiserated with similar stories. Glad I wasn't the only one. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TAKING YOUR CAR TO VAN HORN. EDIT: The manager says we requested a 10am pickup time. False. They were told she'd be waiting in the wait room for it. More

From the moment we entered the door, we were treated with respect, from questioning the purchase a used vehicle to eventually leaving with a new vehicle and a very good price. All of staff we dealt with from sales to financing were informative, cordial, and non pressuring. They treated us as friends. We were totally caught off guard by the level of service we received at Van Horn. We spoke with several members of the sales team as well as the general manager. They all seemed to have a genuine interest we received at Van Horn. We spoke with several members of the sales team as well as the general manager. They all seemed to have a genuine interest in us as real people. Their demeanor was friendly and informal yet as sales people they were polished and professional. What I really liked is that the sales people took the time to listen (something you don't often find) and never interrupted or imposed upon us their own beliefs as to what we needed or how much we could afford. I felt they were determined to find us a vehicle that met our requirements, not theirs. Based on our experience, Van Horn scores above all other dealerships we visited when it comes to customer service, and as such they are most deserving of kudos for a job well done. They changed my perception of car dealers. For us, shopping at Van Horn was a very positive experience, one I did not expect. More
