Bought a new Hyundai Accent which developed a noise. Took it in for service and the service dept. couldn't have been nicer. The problem was fixed and I was on my way. I have never purchased a vehicle on the Internet before and was somewhat apprehensive in doing so. Since the internet allows you to research and fully understand the value of a vehicle that you determine t and was somewhat apprehensive in doing so. Since the internet allows you to research and fully understand the value of a vehicle that you determine to be the best fit for your needs, this seemed to be the way to go, but actually complete a transaction this way? This truly made me nervous. Chris Carlson and the entire team at Van Horn Hyundai in Sheboygan immediately put me at ease and did everything they could to assure me that I was going to be delighted with my purchase. Of course I had several other dealers throughout the United States vying for my business at this time, but Van Horn truly went the extra mile to ensure that I was completely satisfied with my decision to purchase my new Hyundai Genesis from them. In fact, Chris and Gene even drove the car 3 hours, meeting me half way between my home and Sheboygan in order to make it as convenient as possible for me to complete the transaction. The car was everything that they said it was and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride home in my new car completely satisfied that I had made the right decision in purchasing my new car from Van Horn Hyundai rather than all of the others that were trying to get my business. Not only will I continue to research and purchase future cars using the Internet, but the first place I will start to look will be at the Van Horn website. I highly recommend this knowledgeable, friendly and customer centered dealership to everyone regardless of where you live for your next vehicle purchase. More
I was very happy with the way I was treated. Ryan was very helpful. He took time with me and told me how everything worked in the car. He also set up the bluetooth for me. Had a great experience with Shelly Nixon, but not very happy with the attitude and service given by Sales Manager Vince Cooney! My wife and i got a great deal on the Sonata that we had purchased, however we were not vert satissfied with the way our salesperson listened to us. He did not listen to well to waht we wanted and although we like the car, it was not our first choice from the ones we had chosen. And when we discussed the issue after the sale and they gave me a solution to remedy the problem, all they seemed to care about was this rating and not my satisfaction, because again he did not take the time to make sure that my concern about the rememdy was going to be taken care when in the end it was not, again not listening and only caring about a review on a website. First, I researched the car that I wanted, then went online to check out the inventory at VanHorn Hyundai in Sheboygan. Shelly Nixon was the first to respond and we sent a couple of messages back and forth. That week I also had some problems concerning my ex-husband and some financial matters, so I had to tell Shelly that I would be on hold for a while. She was very understanding, and did not bother me at all while I was working that out. On Monday 5/2, gas prices hit $4.07/g here so I went on the website. I clicked to open a chat window and there was Shelly, ready to assist me. As soon as I told her my name, she remembered who I was and asked if things were getting better. (That's awesome!) We chatted a bit and I scheduled a test-drive for Wednesday afternoon. My boss changed my schedule before I could contact Shelly, so I showed up unexpectedly on Tuesday afternoon. She was very busy, but very polite and took the time to talk to me, show me the features of the car I was interested in, and thoroughly explained all of the availible options. I had limited time that day, but we did come up with a deal that was very amicable. I got rid of my gas-guzzling full-size SUV and my mid-size high-mileage spare vehicle; and we got my monthly payments on the new car to a very affordable level. Wednesday, 5/4, I drove off in my new Hyundai Elantra, fully loaded, and sooooooo sweeeet! Thank You again to the team at VanHorn Hyundai in Sheboygan! More
