My new LaCrosse December 15 I was involved in a collision. The other driver was at fault and caused my 2012 LaCrosse to be totaled. This was quite upsetting and finally, this past Sunday I decided to go to Van Buick GMC to see what they had. I was greeted by Alan Perez who showed me cars in their inventory. I wanted a LaCrosse to replace my 2012, but a new one was more than I could spend. As I test drove cars, we spoke about cars and my experience. When we finished, he called a friend and came back saying that the next morning he would go to pick up a 2013 LaCrosse with low mileage . So I returned on Monday, tested the car he picked up, and bought it. Today I returned to Van and he set up my blue tooth and a few other features. The conversations that we had were informative and calming. He said that if I needed anything related to this car, to call him. He recently joined the crew at Van, lucky for me. I hope he stays there. More

In some ways good some ways not I’m a veteran and came into Van Chevrolet to get a ‘newer’ car because my 2007 Trailblazer was beginning to cost lots in repairs. I told them I was on I’m a veteran and came into Van Chevrolet to get a ‘newer’ car because my 2007 Trailblazer was beginning to cost lots in repairs. I told them I was on disability and could only afford a little more than 400 a month in payments. However the finance guy -Mike-pushed me into a new car stating it was easier to finance. Note: Since I had a heart attack last year - I actually died in OR and suffered many complications—I pretty much maxed out my Credit. Yet I was only shown new cars. I was told my payments would be under $500 a month. Still high but they said it was easier to buy a new car etc. it seems a bit strange that somehow I got buried in payments of nearly $600 a month - and a car that is nice but way over what I could really afford. Then Mike added more insurance/ warranty I guess In the flurry of things I wasn’t completely clear about the final reality. That’s my fault. I wish however They would have listened to me and found me a slightly used car without the inflated price tag. I see several2017 GMC cars selling for 15,000 less. So that kind of stings. Between my war wounds and recent physical injuries and sense of defeat I didn’t insist and went along for the ride. Also my fault. Being told my choices were very limited. But with marginal credit and in my circumstance it might have been truly nice if Mike kept his word. The sales girl was very sweet but not very knowledgeable so she didn’t get the big picture. I can’t in all honesty recommend you folks to others. Especially my veteran friends as I feel you are mostly into getting high dollar sales without caring about the buyers reality. It is ultimately my responsibility to be more forceful in these circumstances. I hold no grudges. But the payments are challenging every month. More
