I walked into Valley Honda looking for an SUV and walked out with a Civic. My sales person was Tom Propersi and he hands down was the greatest sales man that I had met in days of car shopping. Tom made me f out with a Civic. My sales person was Tom Propersi and he hands down was the greatest sales man that I had met in days of car shopping. Tom made me feel like a person and not a commission and knowing that it made the car purchase that much more comfortable for me. Not only Tom but the entire staff of Valley Honda was always smiling and and making me feel welcomed. By the end of my car shopping experience my sister who was only thinking about getting a new car had told me that she felt so good about my car experience that a week later she also bought a car from Tom. Overall from start to finish Tom was a huge reason that Honda was able to sell me a car. Within a week I returned to Honda to get splash guards put on my car and everyone was just as nice including the service man Mike that was helping me out. Tom made sure to say hello to me while I was in and even helped me with the set up of my new phone to the Civic. I would highly recommend Valley Honda and Tom Propersi for your next vehicle purchase! I traded in an old car (Odyssey 2010) to be replaced with a new one (Odyssey 2012) expecting lower monthly payment by utilizing the equity value on the old one and lowering the loan APR. This was offered by a new one (Odyssey 2012) expecting lower monthly payment by utilizing the equity value on the old one and lowering the loan APR. This was offered by the dealer indeed and I simply set my goal to lower my monthly payment while keeping the same equity value on my car (i.e., used car value - remaining loan). I admitted I have to renew the loan term, but this should be worth as much as we have a new car. There were lots of details I had to figure out by myself not to cause an extra cost from my pocket, but the work was done quite smoothly by help of dealership. Most of all, the dealer and sales manager searched for the best options for me so that I did not need to do it by myself. I just checked the trade-in value, new car price, and monthly payment they offered. The trade-in value was a bit lower than I expected but the new car price discount matched the difference. I could get a lower APR also and the calculation resulted in certainly a new lower payment. I clarify the lowering of monthly payment was also helped by transferring an additional value attached to my car for the protection program. I used it to lower the loan amount after cutting some unnecessary protection items that I did not need. Finally, I got a new car with lower monthly payment (~6% lower) and am quite satisfied with this deal. The deal, sales manager, and financial managers are all cooperative and provided their best services. It was an excellent experience. More
