Great experience overall! I went to a few dealers I had shortlisted based on Internet reviews, to buy a Honda Civic. I went to Valley Honda first, and after visiting a few other dealerships, I realized I w shortlisted based on Internet reviews, to buy a Honda Civic. I went to Valley Honda first, and after visiting a few other dealerships, I realized I was getting the best deal here. I even got financing though my situation was tricky considering my visa status. The dealership as such is huge and very well maintained with lots of amenities for customers. The only downside I experienced was that I had to interact with multiple personnel due to varying shifts that did lead to a little miscommunication but that was dealt with quite professionally. Highly recommended. More
My experience at Valley Honda was disappointing. In fact, if I could redo the experience, I would of gone straight to Honda of Lisle instead. I did my homework in the morning and researched which dealership had the Honda Odyssey 2014 Touring in stock in Modern Steel on 12/28/2013. Emailed some deals and chosen the best dealership with the best reviews from Yelp. Honda of Aurora was top in reviews, had to drive almost an hour to the dealership but that's fine. Best places to do business are the ones referred. Sorry, but Yelp actually didn't work this time. Let me explain. Drove 40 minutes away from Chicago to go to Aurora Honda (I must of passed at least 4 dealerships on the way). We already test drove the Odyssey Touring so we knew it was just a matter of tweaking the numbers and picking it up. Went inside Honda and talked to Randall since he was the person who emailed me his quote that I liked. He was nice and we waited for a good hour to get a salesman to work with us (weather outside was great), his name was Jose. Nice guy, I have nothing but compliments about Jose. He even went to the lot and got the color and minivan for us. We "test drove" the car. Test drove is understatement because my wife wanted to learn all the little features so we know how to use it when we buy this car. We finished the drive and we sat down and worked the numbers: Trade in value and car price. Wasn't much time maybe 15-20 minutes? We already got a price quote online we we're happy with and Honda of Lisle already quoted me a slightly lower price. Yes, I even showed Jose the quote. I then took my 4 year old to the bathroom and while that happened, my wife said another salesman (she said it looked like Pat but he didn't introduce himself) asked Jose can he have the keys for the car and Jose replied, No, working on a deal right now. Then I came back. We said ok with the deal at Valley Honda and then.... The manager Kurt came out and asked was there another color we had in mind? Huh? The minivan we drove and it's color was sold to someone else. We wanted that color and Valley Honda was now out of stock. Kurt said he could get it Monday but I would have to drive all the way back and it would be late Monday after my work. Kurt stated they do not do dealer to dealer trades on Saturday. Really? But you can sell the car any time you want during the deal making process? Get the car in on Monday? But really, can we trust them to hold on to it? They couldn't even hold on the vehicle when we we're working on it for 15-20 minutes! Kurt even stated how can they know a deal is in process. Sounds like an internal issue to me, didn't we have the car keys? Kurt said he can provide $200 worth of floor mats; nice gesture but we came to buy a car. What ever happened to the 217 Odysseys (under new car specials) you advertised on your website? After the walk out in disbelief, we drove to get some dinner then went to honda of lisle and talked to Steve. After the test drive at Honda of Lisle and deal process, we drove home in a new 2014 Odyssey Touring in modern steel. We left the dealership on that Saturday 2 hours after they closed but the salesman Steve was very patient with us. Btw, honda of lisle had 2 modern steels in stock. Be careful with these guys, I noticed a negative Yelp review from Emily C. stated they sold her car to someone else also. Looks like it has happened before. Not sure how to prevent this from happening. Perhaps ask the salesman to hold both set of car keys during the deal process. More

My husband and I got the 2013 Honda Civic and we really had a very nice experience dealing with Eileen. She was very accommodating and pleasant to deal with and answered all the questions we had on decidi had a very nice experience dealing with Eileen. She was very accommodating and pleasant to deal with and answered all the questions we had on deciding about our purchase. She really took time out to explain all the deals they had at the time and really made it possible to meet our requirements especially making up our minds and stayed within our budget. The car was ready when I went to pick it up complete with a bow on top like how my husband requested, and Eileen explained everything about the car inside and out. I would recommend this dealership to my friends and family especially Eileen and brag to them about this great experience we had in getting our new Civic. More

Prior to my purchase, I had many questions that Allan M was willing to answer. He was very quick to respond to my emails in regards to pricing and financing a vehicle. On the day of my purchase, I contacted Allan M prior to arriving to Valley Honda and he began processing any paperwork and had it ready for my arrival. Upon my arrival, Allan M opened the door and welcomed me into the facility. The amenities provided by the dealership were exceptional and made the time spent at the dealership more comfortable. Allan M truly spent his time to provide us with the best deal possible as evidenced through his persistence in negotiating a higher value for my trade in. Most importantly, Allan M was honest the entire time and never pressured me into buying anything I did not need. I highly recommend Allan M. and Valley Honda for any car purchases. More

Our family has used this dealership many times over the years. My son, mom, brother-in-law and sister have all been sent here due to our experiences! Friendliness and service are #1 for Valley Honda from the front desk to the porters to the salespeople to the hospitality staff to cashiers to parts staff to service representatives. No one at this place disregards a customer and no one looks like he or she would rather be elsewhere. (Doesn't sound realistic, does it? It's as if they must be positive or go home.) Yet, at the same time, we haven't felt like anyone was putting on a show or ingratiating us. Honesty and sincerity go a LONG way in my book. I never felt pressure. Our salesperson, Julie Olson, did her job. High quality sales team members provide information, follow-up and keep in touch until a decision to buy or not has been made. That's not pressure, that's earning you business! I am confident that I would not have been pestered about not buying at this time. However, I would expect that a strong associate would keep in touch and provide pertinent news regarding the vehicle of interest. All of our questions were answered immediately or the answer was found and forwarded to us. Punctual replies to phone calls and emails were all a part of this positive experience. Most know that Honda makes/sells a quality product with the best safety features standard in the vehicles. God used a Honda to assist in His miracle. Our son survived being driven off the road and taking a tree out while driving a civic si (small sporty number). The side curtain airbags and strong reinforced driver protection features allowed him to walk away from the crash. He was admitted, x-rayed, examined for 24 hours and released. If that doesn't show Honda in a positive light, I don't know what does! During our recent purchase a situation occurred that needed managerial action. Julie took the issue to the right man and they got to the bottom of it while retaining our satisfaction and confidence in the dealership. Kevin Frank, sales manager, went out of his way to correct an error. In all honesty, we were ready to give up and leave as disappointed customers with a scarred view of our favorite Honda dealer AND without a new car. Kevin stopped us and asked if we would give him a couple minutes. We agreed. Kevin returned with a solution that we ALL could agree to accept! Gone was our disappointment, improved was our belief in management to serve a customer well. I am not related to or best friends with or being paid to write my story. Words and actions tell much about character of individuals and businesses. Valley Honda proved to match their words with their actions! One rule of business says that keeping customers satisfied leads to more business. Satisfied clients will tell others about favorite products, BUT dissatisfied customers will spread the word like wildfire. I'm not suggesting that I/we would have gone out bad-mouthing Valley, however I will say we wouldn't have sent our friends and family back.
