When I began shopping for a Honda Fit, I checked with several dealers in my area to find the color and trim I was looking for. I also registered with TrueCar.com and received quotes from area dealers. When I contacted Valley Honda, I got a quick response from Brittany Brandon, with a price quote that was below the quoted price from other dealers (including those giving me the TrueCar discount.) Aside from the great price, Brittany's customer service was amazing from start to finish. This was most apparent in comparison to some of the other dealers who contacted me during my car shopping experience. Brittany listened to exactly which Fit I wanted and assured me Valley Honda would be able to get it for me. (Compared to dealers who ignored what I wanted or tried to convince me what I REALLY wanted was a car they had on their lot.) Brittany gave me honest answers to my questions and realistic estimates of how long it would take to get my car. (Compared to one dealer who actually tried to tell me that the car I wanted was not yet being produced by the factory.) (And she got my car sooner than expected!) And when I mentioned I preferred email, she was happy to answer my questions via email. (Compared to dealers who kept playing voicemail tag with me without answering any of my questions.) In short, Valley Honda is almost 40 miles from my home, and since I needed to order my Fit in the color/trim I wanted, I could have ordered from a dealer much closer to my home. But when I'm making a purchase as important as a car, I want to work with a salesperson who respects me as a customer, and answers my questions honestly. I sent out requests for quotes to several dealerships and Brandon Sullivan was the first to respon I purchased a 2014 Honda Accord from Valley Honda. I sent out requests for quotes to several dealerships and Brandon Sullivan was the first to respond to my inquiries. I noted this down because as a customer, it was important to see who really wanted my business. He provided information as to what colors were in stock for the model that I was looking for and he gave me a breakdown of the out-the-door quote which helped me understand all of the numbers involved. He was very persistent with following up to see if there was any other assistance that I needed and he was very accommodating to check if their quote was competitive enough compared to other dealers. It was this persistence and eagerness for my business that kept Valley Honda at the top of my list while I continued my search. When I visited the dealership, I was greeted by Manny Bejar. Extremely friendly. Excellent first impression. He showed me the car that the quote was for and answered all my questions. He prepared the vehicle for a test drive. I was then introduced to Joseph Barsalona. He assisted with the test drive. During the drive, he walked me through the different options and accessories for the car and explained how they were used. He was very personable and made the test drive very relaxed and a very good experience. He gets an A+ for being able to relate to the customer and making me feel at ease. When it came to negotiating the vehicle price, at no point did I ever feel pressured. He was very patient and allowed me time to think things through. He understood that I needed a competitive price and he followed through with it. I felt like I received an exceptional quote for the vehicle. I would highly recommend Valley Honda when purchasing a vehicle. The facility offered a clean and refreshing atmosphere, and the waiting area was pleasant. Follow-through and thorough Service I purchased a 2015 Hybrid Accord. Andy was very thorough during the sale in presenting options (most of which I chose not to go with) but he handled I purchased a 2015 Hybrid Accord. Andy was very thorough during the sale in presenting options (most of which I chose not to go with) but he handled it smoothly and spoke informatively when I had questions to ask. He knows his product. Upon picking-up my new car I noticed a paint flaw in the bumper. Andy and the service folks took care of the issue for me without hesitation. While my car was in the shop, Andy was diligent in calling me to ask if everything was okay. (A nice touch even if he could have checked in with the service department himself and simply called to tell me things were progressing well with my car). I feel I paid a fair price after all is said and done with my trade-in, the car itself and the options I did purchase. Financing from the dealer was better than I could get at my bank as a "preferred" customer; they got me an even lower rate than the one they had committed to. Not everyone in this dealership is as sharp and efficient as my experience with Andy. Going in during initial looks and "kicking of the tires" was extremely cumbersome. Before getting to Andy I simply wanted to test drive the hybrid Accord. It took fooooooooooorevvvvvvvvvvvvver to finally get to drive the car. They will insist on sitting at one of the desks to review car options via their website...I have internet connection at home and could have done the same thing. More
