Overall, I have been very pleased with Valley Buick. However, Heather is very abrasive and routinely tells me what she can’t do. She seems unwilling to offer solutions. My issue was CEL (check engine light). I did need to bring my vehicle back as the CEL came on again, a few days after repair. I dropped my car off Sunday evening using the Key Drop-Early bird service. Unaware if my car was completed, I had a work colleague drop me off at Valley as it was on both of our ways home. Alex, the writer handling my repair was at lunch. I feel Alex is committed to customer service. I’m very happy I had the “opportunity” to work with him. When I went into the staging area another gentleman offered to help me. I wish I knew his name. He was equally as friendly, professional etc. The tech was just buttoning up my vehicle. He took it for a final test drive to verify (as best as one can with a machine) To his (and my) satisfaction the car is running as it should. The lady (again I missed her name) was also very friendly and professional. As I said on a previous review, Valley feels like a small town dealership. I feel my business is important to Valley Buick. That’s been from the day we purchased our Encore in 2019 I believe. Whenever I recv service like this I certainly want to recognize those who I dealt w/ face to face. I do feel, the ownership and management are responsible to hire, train and maintain the culture, which is absolutely done at this business. It is definitely easier handing money to people like this. This definitely isn’t always the case. More times than I wish, I’ve handed a lot of money to people who could care less. Everyone that I’ve met at Valley has been professional and welcoming. From the minute I walked in, I was welcomed and felt like i was family. My current car (Kia Soul) was having major issues and numerous light were on the dash, and the car would just stop as I was drivin like i was family. My current car (Kia Soul) was having major issues and numerous light were on the dash, and the car would just stop as I was driving or turning a corner. So it was not very safe to be driving at all. Connor made sure I talked to Heather in the service isle to get her opinion as I brought in a sheet from Autozone checking all the lights and batteries and she was honest and didn’t hold back as to what she thought with the information I provided. She even said, without getting into it, I can’t 100% tell you what is wrong, but it doesn’t look good. Connor sense my anxiousness and he then had me speak with Randy the service manager and he advised me as well on how bad the issue was. I was still a bit anxious about it, so Connor suggested we talk to Steve who is one of the most amazing service techs there. He listened to me and was honest as to what he thought was wrong with my Kia and didn’t hold back on how much it would be to fix and suggested I just buy a new car! He even said, I’ll sell you one. I loved the sense of humor and the honest advice I got from everyone. Connor listened to my concerns and immediately got to work on helping me find a car that would work best for my needs. Brett came over and said hello as he was walking by which was so great. Joel is amazing in finance he worked out a rate and explained everything, all the options and what he felt would be best for us. The staff at Valley went above and beyond to help me and my husband find a car that would fit our needs and our budget as we were not looking to get one. Like I told Connor, “This was not on my Bingo card today!” The best part, my new car would not be ready but Valley ensured I would have a safe car to drive until they could get me into my new 2025 Buick Encore. Connor said, “We here at Valley, will not let you drive your previous car anymore, it’s not safe at all. We will make sure you have something to drive.” From all my interactions with Heather, Randy, Steve, Brett, Joel, and Connor they made made me feel that Valley Buick GMC really cares about their customers and treats them like family. This dealership has just gained a customer for life. More
