Dishonest online vehicle descriptions, rude service. The crack had been filled with resin, but it was still about the size of a quarter and less than an inch from the center of the driver’s field of vision. Just driving it around the block gave me a headache. I’ve been searching for a very specific year/make/model/trim — a car well known in the harpist community for being ideal for transporting gear. I was serious about this car, and I drove eight hours round trip with traffic to see it. This car is no longer in production or I’d buy it new. When I pointed out the crack and said I wouldn’t have made the drive if I’d known, the manager told me, “You should expect that from a cheap car.” I’m sorry, but $15,000 is not cheap to me. Nor was this the cheapest vehicle in the tristate area. While the dealership offered $300 off to replace the windshield: 1. My state would fail this car on inspection due to the location of the damage. 2. That trim has safety features (Toyota’s TSS-P) that require camera recalibration after windshield replacement — which the staff denied existed on the car, even though they do. This would raise the cost to possibly $600-$1200. 3. If fix was so easy, why didn’t they replace the windshield themselves before listing it? 4. What other undisclosed problems are there with the car that I should have “expected”? The answer I wish I had given was, “a windshield”. That’s what I expect “a cheap car” to have. More

You could say the the car sold itself, but that would be only partly true. I was also sold by the crew that believes in their product and stands behind it. No hard sell necessary. More
