I worked with Loren, who has always been easy to talk to and good with communication. This last visit they had my car done in 1 hour, but had estimated 2 hours. I am extremely disappointed with my recent service experience in March 2026 and feel compelled to share my concerns. I brought my truck in for repairs and worked directly with Ryan Pelliccioni. From the beginning, communication was inconsistent and frustrating. Within a very short period, I received multiple conflicting calls regarding whether my repair would be covered under warranty. I was initially told it would not be covered, then that it would be covered due to the nature of the issue, followed by another call requesting a $995 pre-approval plus labor. Shortly after, my husband contacted Ryan and was told the repair would, in fact, be fully covered. This back-and-forth occurred within roughly 30 minutes and set the tone for the entire experience. Despite requesting that all further communication go through my husband—especially as I had just given birth—Ryan continued to contact me directly. He later requested an additional $90 for parts, even though we were consistently told the repair was covered. When my husband questioned this, Ryan framed it as though I was unwilling to pay, which was both inaccurate and unprofessional.The repair process itself was significantly delayed. After being told the vehicle would be ready by a certain date, we experienced multiple missed timelines with little to no proactive communication. Each time we reached out for updates, the responses were inconsistent and often delivered with a dismissive or rude tone.When I finally picked up my truck, I discovered that it had no fuel remaining, despite being dropped off with a full tank. When I raised this concern, Ryan stated the vehicle needed to be driven for testing, yet also claimed only two miles had been added. This explanation did not align with the empty fuel tank. Additionally, I was never informed that my vehicle would be taken on a test drive, nor did I give consent for it.A manager ultimately stepped in, handled the situation professionally, and resolved the fuel issue. I appreciate their assistance; however, the overall experience—particularly the lack of clear communication, professionalism, and transparency from Ryan—was unacceptable.I have been a returning customer for maintenance and repairs, but due to this experience, I will not be returning. This situation caused unnecessary stress during an already sensitive postpartum period.However, the overall experience, particularly the conduct and communication from Mr. Pelliccioni, was unacceptable. I trust that this matter will be reviewed seriously and that appropriate steps will be taken to prevent similar situations from occurring in the future. He helped me figure out where/how Pepboys damaged my car and gave me excellent recommendations for a body shop to take care of my vehicle. Since then, he’s been nothing but kind and in my corner when it comes to my vehicle. I recommend Tustin Toyota and especially Izze, for any and all of your Toyota needs! 10/10 no notes. More
On February 2, 2026 I contacted via email Mabel Stunz, Tustin Toyota, Customer Relations Manager regarding a bad brake job performed On July 5 2025 by a mechanic at service department. As Victor Martin Tustin Toyota, Customer Relations Manager regarding a bad brake job performed On July 5 2025 by a mechanic at service department. As Victor Martinez assistant service manager insisted to change brakes when brakes were not needed to be changed. I requested the old brake pads from Victor Martinez before the bad brake job I understand I am legally entitled to receive my replaced parts back when it got requested before the work is initiated. Mr .Martinez told me to borrow money from friends or family members or financial institutions to perform services to my vehicle as this is considered highly unprofessional and unethical. I received call on July 5, 2025 from Victor that car is ready and when I went to front desk I told Victor are the old parts in the car for me to inspect. And Mr. Martinez answers was all the time excuses and lies. Furthermore Mabel Stuntz told Me ( to refund your money back we need an inspection from another Toyota dealer. The result on the inspection was that a shim was out of place from brake pads and was grinding and squealing on rotor when pressing the brake pedal. Also I noticed lost of braking power since July 5 2025 as the result of the negligence of the service mechanic at Tustin Service Department. In addition Mabel Stuntz arrogant attitude in the email if I want to get my money back ( I need you to sign a signed release agreement if you want your 269.88 for inspection and 270.50 for bad brake job performed the total amount is 539.88. This is not professional from management to force customers to sign to get 2 refunds after a negligent job performed at Tustin’s service department and management . In addition to this on July 23, 2025 I took the car for Warning Message: "Engine Maintenance Required" or "Visit Your Dealer" appeared in dashboard as a result of this message the The coolant bypass valve (or water valve) had failed. In the same day on July 23 2025 I received a call from Victor Martinez the coolant bypass valve was replaced and there was bad news that the service mechanic while reversing mechanic rear ended another vehicle and caused my vehicle that is my private property extensive damage including frame damage. As a result to this the management at Tustin Toyota did not want to be liable for damages. Tustin Toyota Management did not want to fix the car and wanted to hide the severe damages in my car. Assistant service manager Victor Martinez and assistant service manager Derrick Bui , Bobby Ramirez Service manager, Mabel Stuntz Customer Relations Manager and Anita Johnson BDC service manager were arrogant and I felt discriminated by them just because I am dark skin person, and thought I did not speak English. While my vehicle was 1 month in their possession Tustin Toyota damaged paint from front part of the front hood and other painted plastics of the front bumper and also damaged rear parts from rear bumper. Tustin Toyota service department intentionally damaged my vehicle in retaliation for my complaint, this is considered malicious, intentional destruction of property. I am still thinking what else Tustin Toyota damaged. Up to this day are not yet replaced and fixed correctly to my specifications as 2021 Toyota Corolla SE owner. Also Tustin Toyota service department damaged front door locks from passenger and driver side. I never got a reply or a call Tustin Toyota Service Director. As a result Tustin Toyota does negligent repairs, Unnecessary or Unauthorized Repairs, and Unfair/Deceptive Business Practices and discriminates customers. Based on standard Toyota operating procedures, service departments, including Tustin Toyota, can enter or amend service records in their local system before they transfer to the MyToyota website database. While they can edit dealer-specific notes, falsifying official records is unethical and against manufacturer policy. More
