TUNKHANNOCK AUTO MART DOES THE WORK FOR YOU WHEN BUYING PRE-OWNED VEHICLES...Our EXCLUSIVE car consultant spends several days each week on site at automobile auctions to bring back vehicles he can find at the best prices. He travels to automobile auctions in Florida and other southeastern states to bring back low mileage cars that were part of rental pools for vacationers, he says. "The cars down there seem to be more gently used by people on vacation than by busy road warriors who go from place to place at break-neck speed to get their jobs done. And new cars put into rental service down south seem to suffer less damage because of their better weather and road conditions down there versus the snowbound northeast. The windows and bodies don't suffer damage from flying road cinders, the tires aren't beaten up by pot-holes, and the under carriages are not damaged by chemicals spread onto icy roads."
Our EXCLUSIVE automobile consultant, who has been in the business since 1987, targets vehicles that have only been in service for six to 12 months and have been treated well as evidenced by their maintenance and service records. Our consultant physically goes to each auction site because he says you can't tell from a video or picture if there is body or interior damage. He also looks very carefully at the AutoCheck and CarFax history reports to evaluate the past ownership. The Service Department at Tunkahnnock Auto Mart is great. They are always very friendly and very informative. The length of time for your service appt is always right on. Joe Dafcik was very easy to deal with not pushy, a very friendly person, We went to get service done on our jeep and while waiting for it to be done we were looking at some cars on the lot and wound up tra friendly person, We went to get service done on our jeep and while waiting for it to be done we were looking at some cars on the lot and wound up trading in the jeep for a ford focus. My wife and I are from Vermont and we had been looking for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited for about 2 months with not much luck. We went to many dealers through out VT and kept getting jerked around. Ever for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited for about 2 months with not much luck. We went to many dealers through out VT and kept getting jerked around. Everywhere we went would not give us what we wanted for our trade, or wouldn't get the montly price to what we wanted. After searching online we found Tunkhannock auto mart. We called about a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited they had and within an hour Kelly Thomas had called us back with a price they would give me for my trade and the price on their Jeep. The numbers were what we wanted so we proceeded and again within an hour we had approval and set in stone numbers. Now we were at the point of setting up a day to go pick it up and it was going to be a 12 hour round trip for us so we asked if they could meet us half way and they said no problem. So we went and met half way and the Jeep was everything they promised.
