Worst experience buying a car ever. I felt I was being punished by paying cash and not financing with dealership. Very difficult to get anyone to return calls. I had to make all of the effort just to ask when my could could be picked up and when I finally Did go get my car, it was filthy inside and out. I bought a 2019 and there were still crumbs and remnants of food from the previous owner. No one ever went over the car with me to tell me how everything worked. I was handed the keys and sent on my way. The car also needed an oil change and there was no gas in it. Sticker stated it had a bit over 24,000 miles and when I picked it up it had over 26,000 miles. Hmmmmm? I have advised friends and those who admire my car to never purchase a vehicle at Tulsa Hyandi. More
It took them three months to finish my car. We would call them over and over, yet never would get an answer. Never received an update so I showed up at 5pm to see if it was ready. Was a recall fix. Beginning at 4pm I began texting my service advisor twice and left 2 voicemails asking if it was done. Cons- They always charge $20 for an additive for the free oil changes that are covered by Hyundai, even if you don’t want it. I trade my cars in before the warranty is up, why should I be forced to buy free oil changes that are covered by Hyundai, even if you don’t want it. I trade my cars in before the warranty is up, why should I be forced to buy an additive for a “lifetime engine warranty” that I do t want or.need. They are SLOW! It takes a minimum of two hours to get an oil change and tire rotation with an appointment, last visit it was three. On my Santa Fe Hybrid I went to an auto parts store, bought synthetic oil, a filter, drove home changed my oil and rotated my tires myself in less than an hour. Price gouging on cabin air filters. Last visit they told me I needed a cabin air filter without even showing it to me, and quoted me $65. I had replaced the cabin air filter myself the morning of the visit. The filter was $40 from Hyundai (so they want $20 to put the filter in the glovebox compartment that they already have opened up to check the old one. Won’t help get warranty work approved. My USB port failed, the adhesive holding the prongs in place didn’t hold and the plastic separator in the port came out. They said Hyundai approved the repair and then came back later and said they didn’t. And they were sure Hyundai would cover it if I called them, if they were so sure they should be able to stand up for their customers and get it approved. They wanted $986 to replace the cable, I ordered the cable online for $40 and it will take me less than an hour to replace. I’m afraid that if I got Hyundai to pay for it the repair would take days at their speed. Recommended a fuel cleaning service and AC cleaning service on a car with less than 24k miles, these items are not recommended in the owners manual until you are at 60k miles. That would have cost me another $380. Pros- The staff is always very friendly there, they have bottled water and donuts in the waiting room. The sofa there is so worn out though my back was killing me after my 3 hour wait. Bottom line- Nice people, horribly slow service, any oil change place can get you in and out in 30 minutes with a tire rotation. Free oil changes are included by Hyundai, the manual does not recommend an additive. They should provide the free oil changes that I paid them $40k for when I purchased the car from them (that had a $2000 price markup on it). I’m trading in my Santa Fe soon and won’t be purchasing the replacement from Tulsa Hyundai, they have gouged me enough already. More
Had to return my car here 5 times for the same issue each time. In the span of 5 months they had my car there for 4 months. Had to reach out myself each time I wanted an update and they even forgot to tell m time. In the span of 5 months they had my car there for 4 months. Hyundai had my car for 1 month to replace knock sensor. I never made it out of tulsa the day I picked it up it had to go straight back to Hyundai Where they decided it was motor. So another month. When I left their facility after they fixed the motor my left window was broken so my rating is not hight and only a 2 because of asleep the girl that took sure of me More

I scheduled my appointment for 11:30am, ran to lunch and back, then waited for hours. They had taken 70+ appointments for the day and I sat in a modular waiting area for right at 5 hours. Terrible experience, almost as bad as waiting in a hospital ER waiting room. This is the second experience I have had like this and I am not a fan. More
