Horrible Customer Service I truly HATE that I ever picked them for my service warranty. I started with Scott Malone who would never return my call or take the time to communica I truly HATE that I ever picked them for my service warranty. I started with Scott Malone who would never return my call or take the time to communicate the status of my repairs. Scott continuously had excuses. After a couple of visits Brian the service manager decided to get me a new service manager Paul. So of course Paul started out very nurturing and communicative. That was short lived! I own a Equus it has all of the bells and whistles. It is a great car but does have how mileage, but I have a warranty. They get a deductible from me and a crazy amount from my warranty provider with any service they complete because it is a luxury car. Every time I take my car in they have a poor excuse for the delay in the repairs and xx about a loaner car. I drive an Equus they put me in a elantra...wow! My last repair took 1 month to get my car back and received very little communication other than a letter from a sales person trying to get me to trade my car in. I do NOT recommend you use their service department. While in the loaner I had a low tire issue and they told me to take it to Hibdon. Why? You have a service department. Hibdon said it needed a new tire, I advised Hyundai and they sent a runner to pick up the loaner and handed me an invoice for $100.00 for the tire replacement. Once in the shop they took a look at the tire, patched it and returned it to me and removed the charges for tire replacement. The Elantra had 2800 miles on it, so someone will be purchasing a vehicle with a defective tire. So sad... The sales department is just as bad. My daughter found a used Kia Optima online, she test drove the car and loved it! Spoke w/Reginald Blair who xx her with taking care of her and recommended various options to close his sell to reach 30 for the month . We called scheduled time to come in to finalize purchase. They haggled us with the price. Spent 5 hours to close deal she already had financed thru her Credit Union so we walked in with a blank check. Still had to wait for 2 page paperwork to be completed. Tommy Cheatwood(name says all) tried to guilt us in to a higher price for car and finance thru Hyundai for a better negotiation. Tommy said they were losing money because we weren't financing through them. Car had been on the lot for almost 3 months and they were losing money anyway. Why would you tell a customer that? He continued to xx and finally gave permission for price adjustment. 2 hours later we head back to close deal with Steve Woodridge, xxxxxxx, was not friendly and tried to have my daughter sign a blank check. Steve said that accounting would fill in the rest of the info. Really Steve? She is 21, but I am not, who signs a blank check? Steve then filled in the numerical part with $800 more than the negotiated price. When confronted him. He commented " oh well just print a new check off the internet!" as if the check was not good. I wrote in the dollar amount and adjusted his fraud attempt. Bad bad service!! Had she not LOVED this car we would have left. You think with all of that nothing else could go wrong, but no! Reginald preps the car and brings for us to leave. Then tell us that the air is not working and it's just a sensor, but has spoken to service and it will get taken care of someone else had brought to their attention when they test drove it. Needless to say she did not pick her car up for 5 days after purchase and air still was not fixed. She contacted the Kia dealer (Primeaux) they confirmed warranty, she took in and they took care of her and waived the deductible. I strongly recommend you not purchase a car from them, nor allow them to do repair. Brenda Monroe service administrator was very friendly and communicative. More
