“Tulleys BMW Nashua gave me the worst car buying experience I’ve had in 40 years”. I bought a used BMW 550 from Tulley BMW Nashua less than a week ago. This was the first and will be the la experience I’ve had in 40 years”. I bought a used BMW 550 from Tulley BMW Nashua less than a week ago. This was the first and will be the last car I will buy from Tulley. I’m 64 years old and have bought over 40 vehicles in my life. I’ve bought 6 vehicles in the last 12 months ( 3 for myself, and 3 for family members ). I’ve owned a dozen BMW’s total, and currently own 5 BMW’s as well as a Toyota Tundra Limited. I like BMW cars. They’re usually very smooth riding cars, but the one I just bought from Tulley BMW has a severe vibration problem. This car is beautiful, inside and out and has only has 54K miles. I certainly would not have expected it to have a severe vibration problem. Unfortunately, I test drove the car during the 5pm rush hour. I got on the highway, drove about 2 miles ( in 5pm traffic ) and the salesman had me get off the highway to take backroads to return to the dealer. This was not my typical highway test drive ( which is usually at least 5 miles each way, on the Highway, at 70-80 MPH ). Unfortunately, I let my guard down because I was so impressed by the condition of the car and the low mileage. Before buying the car, I told the salesman that I wanted to look at another BMW ( at an Audi Dealer ). His advice was that I should only buy a BMW from a BMW Dealer. In an Ideal world I would agree with him because nobody should know BMW’s better than a BMW Dealer right? Also, as the salesman said, a BMW dealer checks their used cars out and services anything that needs to be replaced with “GENUINE BMW PARTS.” The car I just bought “IS NOT” one of those cars. I made the mistake of trusting that Tulley BMW would properly check this car out and fix any issues before putting it on the lot for sale. I took delivery of the car last Friday evening. Driving it home ( from south Nashua to north Nashua ), after the rush hour traffic, I was able to get the car up to 70-80 mph to cruise up the highway. That’s when I noticed what feels like a drive train vibration. Because of my busy weekend schedule, I was not able to return to the dealer to speak to anyone about the vibration until Tuesday after work. The first manager I could find was a sales manager. When I told him about the problem I encountered with the car, he was rude, belligerent and disrespectful to me. I told him that this car should not have been put on the lot for sale before this vibration problem was resolved. He informed me that the N.H law says that the dealership doesn’t have to do anything in response to my concerns. He told me… “You test drove the car and you bought the car “As Is”, “No Warranty”. “You did not take an extended warranty, so we don’t have to do anything!” He was ARROGANT and BELLIGERENT. I could not believe his rude behavior. I’ve been dealing with car dealers for over 40 years and it was only once before, when I was in my early twenties, that I have ever encountered such an arrogant car dealership manager. Needless to say, I never bought another car from that dealership, and not many years later, they went out of business. When I saw this Tulley manager’s behavior, I told him that they can take this car back and return my money. He also rudely replied, “That’s not going to happen!” Seriously, is this the way that Tulley trains its managers to treat customers??? Unfortunately, This review platform will not let me finish my review for lack of space. I will have to post my review on other websites. Initially , I would have let them fix this problem and they would have gained my trust. Seeing their response, I am now willing to resolve this only one way. I only see one resolution. Mr. Tulley or his general manager may call me when they are ready to take this car back for a full refund. More

I've had a mixed bag of experiences with Tulley. They can be quite good in some aspects but I also experience some of the worst/shadiest practices at their dealership. The last two transactions I They can be quite good in some aspects but I also experience some of the worst/shadiest practices at their dealership. The last two transactions I completed at Tulley were leases - both about week apart in 2021. As part of both leases I worked pricing for zero money down beyond the first months payment which is always going to be due. In both cases - the salesman told me they would be taking the first months payment via credit card up front and then I would be working with financing. In both cases - with two different finance folks, the finance folks tried to slip another first months payment at contract time. The paperwork was written up to treat the initial "first months" payment as a down payment. Took some battling to get it corrected both times. Now - if this were a single occurrence or if I wasn't firm on the terms of the deal I would chalk it up to miscommunication - but I was extremely firm with there being 0 down payment both times and worked with two different advisors and had the same practice attempted. Take care when finalizing numbers here. More
