Car-buying for people who hate to buy cars I first talked to Kevin Woessner about buying a Subaru in the summer of 2013. I told him I was pretty sure I wanted a Subaru but wouldn't be ready to I first talked to Kevin Woessner about buying a Subaru in the summer of 2013. I told him I was pretty sure I wanted a Subaru but wouldn't be ready to purchase until 2014. True to his word, Kevin kept in occasional touch - maybe once every couple of months over the course of the year, but was never pushy. When I saw the 0% financing offer on new Outbacks this past spring, I contacted him for some info which he kindly and thoroughly supplied. Since I don't live in Tucson, we did 90% of our communicating, including price negotiations, via email which made it all incredibly easy. I was pretty picky about what I wanted and what I wanted to pay, so there were a couple of times that I almost backed out of the process, but Kevin always worked hard to clarify things. Because of my pickiness, Kevin also had to work very hard to track down the car of my dreams and get it shipped to Tucson. When the car arrived, Kevin promptly contacted me and we arranged to pick it up. That pick-up day we were in and out of the dealership in about 75 minutes, including all the financing paperwork. I'm sure it was some sort of world record. I'm really happy with my 2014 Outback and appreciate Tucson Subaru's policy of assigning car owners a service consultant to work with. Wendy Angelini has been terrific setting up service appointments and answering our questions. If car buying were always this easy I might do it more frequently than every 15 years. More

The buying experience at Tucson Subaru, however, proved to be an exception to the usual auto dealer drill. It helps that they have a good product and good people. Our sales person, Joe McNeill, was very knowledgeable and took a decidedly low-key approach that we appreciated. Joe showed a great deal of patience in answering the many questions we had as first-time Subaru buyers and we left with a great vehicle and an overall positive car buying experience. We purchased our new Outback at the end of April so we would have it when we made our annual trip to Colorado. It proved to be very capable on the tricky backroads around Ouray and Telluride. I would wholeheartedly recommend Tucson Subaru to anyone in the market for a good car and a good deal. While you're at it, ask for Joe. More

He worked with me for most of the day to find the right car for a price that I could afford. I tried out many different cars that day and finally ended up with the one I really wanted to begin with. He drove me all over the lot looking for the right color with the right interior and the model that I wanted and could afford. He was positive that I would find a car that was the right fit. When I did my financing Tim Hanson was knowledgeable about everything that we talked about. He got right to the point and didn't waste any time. I appreciated this because i had been there most of the day and wanted to get my new car. Thanks for a great experience! More

This was a big change for me, as I have driven and worked with Mercedes for over six years, and two cars. I decided to get a more user friendly, off-road car, as I camp on occasion. After reviewing all models, test driving, etc. of comparable size, I decided on the Subaru. I am very pleased with the customer service rendered by all three parties at the dealership. I love my Subaru! The quality and features, safety, gas mileage, are unsurpassed by any other models! I researched and drove all other comparable sizes. The first experience with the service department surprised me, as Justin was very nice. I did not know that I had to pay for gas on the loaner, as I never did with Mercedes. I drove about 10 miles with the loaner while they detailed my car inside and out. In this case, since I was adding more money from just purchasing the car, I feel that I should not have paid for gas. I understand that many people may abuse a loaner, but I have never been one of them. As it turns out, I used about $1.50 worth of gas, which was forgiven. When I need a loaner for service, I can understand the payment for gas used, but not when I had just purchased a car and was spending hundreds more. Other that that surprise...I have no complaints, and have been invited by both Curt and Trent to stop by for help with some of the new features of my car..
