In a previous service, when changing the oil, the service tech did not tighten the nut that holds the oil pan in place. I drove the car home and found a big puddle of oil underneath the next day. When I called to see what to do, they told me to drive it back to the dealer, which is 45 minutes away. The engine could have siezed at any time during that return trip. So instead my husband tightened the nut and we went out and bought oil and oil clean up material and fixed the car ourselves. We were then promised that when I returned for my next inspection, the emissions test would be credited as compensation for taking care of the issue. In a subsequent service, I verified that there was a note in the computer about my credit, which would apply at the next service. When I went a week ago for that service, they had no clue about the incident. I waited for 20 minutes for someone to figure out what to do. They eventually credited me half the emissions test. First, the person I talked to the day of the oil pan incident should never have told me to "drive it back". Second, a promise was made and then "lost". I will not return to this dealer. More

Rich Rippel did a great job making this vehicle purchase as easy as possible. We did most of the transaction over the phone, so I didn't have to make multiple trips to the dealership. I leased a new Toyota Prius C from TriCounty this week and my experieince couldn't have been better!
