My husband Matt and I were so very pleased with our experience at Tri County Toyota. Mark Robertson, our sales consultant, was very informed about all of the vehicles and helped us to narrow them down experience at Tri County Toyota. Mark Robertson, our sales consultant, was very informed about all of the vehicles and helped us to narrow them down to find the one that best fit our needs. I liked that I never felt pressured and he was willing to give us as much time as we needed to make an informed decision. Mark was able to answer all of our questions with no hesitations at all. We felt very comfortable throughout the process of buying our Camry. I liked that he stayed with us from start to finish and he wasn't ready to move on to the next sale. He made sure we understood everything about the Camry before sending us off to enjoy it. I would definitely recommend coming to Tri Country Toyota because the experience is first rate and they will not disappoint. More
This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Tri-County Toyota. It was a generally positive experience. My salesman, Mike Bertino was a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to refer famil Tri-County Toyota. It was a generally positive experience. My salesman, Mike Bertino was a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to refer family or friends to him in the future. Negotiating a fair deal on the purchase of a new vehicle is never a fun experience, but I feel the sales team at Tri-County did their best to make it less painful. In addition, considering they are in the middle of renovations to their showroom, they did a good job of minimizing the disruption. I have not yet had any service performed on this vehicle so I can not comment on that, although previous experiences with another vehicle being serviced at Tri-County have been less then satisfactory. I will likely try the service department again with this vehicle to see if there has been any improvements. Overall I gave the sales team a good rating and would consider returning again to purchase a new Toyota or Scion. I cannot give a "5-Great" rating. The experience of purchasing a new vehicle, like going to the dentist is never "great". Perhaps my expectations are too high? If you do find yourself at Tri-County Toyota while shopping for a new car, I would recommend asking for Mike Bertino. He will go above and beyond to assist in the process. More
The Great "Driving Extraordinary Experience Deal"of Lifetime My story starts out back in 1995 with a Toyota Camry 1995 LE bought from Champion Toyota. I named this one Champ because it endured so many problems I My story starts out back in 1995 with a Toyota Camry 1995 LE bought from Champion Toyota. I named this one Champ because it endured so many problems I couldn't believe it survived for 18 years as my first car. It had a hole in the transmission that was under warranty and was fixed. Even had the timing belt under warranty including tow and shut down of course like it should. It even lived past 5 years of corrosion cancer that leaked into the harness. It had the best MPG ever only needing 1 full gas of tank for the 3000-5000 miles I drove it yearly. Was totaled from a 95 Jeep from a 19 year old going through 2 lights and rear ending me at 40+ miles per hour while I was stopped at the red light on the Roosevelt Blvd. But alas 2012 Dec 30th after passing an accident on Grant Ave on the Roosevelt Blvd a CRV Honda 2011 smashes into my rear in an angle coming from the express lane and totaling my driver side where I parted with my 156,000 mile which btw I only put 116,000 miles since my stepbrother drove to NYC everyday in it the first year and 6000 was from the 3000 miles of driving to California and Back again. So the hunt for a replacement started and I found myself at Liberty Toyota in Burlington, NJ for a 2010 Camry XLE 3.5L V6 with 25,584 miles. Great deal at the time but there was a lack of i4 with the push-start option and Bluetooth and moon roof and leather heated seats I was searching for. So I went ahead and bought it no fuss no haggling it was a fair price of $20,000 with $5000 internet discount on it. I named this car of course Liberty. So few months passed and I had only a 3 mile commute to work. Loved the 6th generation design and features that could last me 20 more years. The car was in great condition as well. But the only thing I was getting an average of 12-16 MPG due to the stop and go driving on side roads and Roosevelt Blvd horrible red light traps of 2 lights traveling. I consider myself a conservative driver never caused an accident for 28 years of driving in California and NY to Philadelphia. Of course the 2 serious accidents not my fault total my car twice on the Roosevelt Blvd. Yes its true folks Roosevelt Blvd was designed by a madman who made merging lanes way to close to each other and crooked intersections. The rumors are true how multiple accidents always happen near to each other there. Driving in Cali being the speed limit is 65 and most people honestly drive 80+ there I never had an accident potential incident. Anyhow after filling the 2010 XLE Camry with full tanks for at least since April of 2013 after buying it in Feb. 20th 2013 I noticed that buying a V6 was a bad idea. At first I thought it was the car because I was like where is the 19-22 MPG I been hearing about. But after driving long stretches of HWY I manage to see 34 mpg once and average 22-26 mpg from taking road trips. Had it fuel injected cleaned twice and used octane cleaners to having the spark plugs, throttle body, maf sensor and O2 sensors checked out on the car and nothing improved. It effected my life in everyway complaining to my friends to coworkers it was a daily haunt and being I had a heart attack at age 33 and being diabetic this is not what I needed for my health. I just wish the salesman listen to my story better he should of never profiled me as being a buyer for a v6 if I told him I drove a 4 cylinder and live in North East Philly and drive less than 5000 to 3000 miles a year previously. That just tells you I'm a stop and go driver and not HWY driver. But of course Its my partial blame for not being more educated I should of rented a v6 before leaping into the deal. Opinions aren't good enough from friends or family the only way you know is trying it out for yourself. But one good deed Liberty did was let me borrow a Prius C for a day when installing my remote factory starter for the 2010 XLE v6 silver Camry and side moldings and spoiler. This introduced me into prospecting for a hybrid car. The general manager offered me Friends and Family deal and to trade in my car but they didn't have much inventory on used hybrids and my budget wasn't going to allow me into a new hybrid limited SE being I was laid off recently from AT&T after 6 years working there. 2013 was not the best year of my life. Car was totaled few days before it then less than month my store was robbed at gun point which I never even been in a police car before in my entire life let alone a police station. Then few months after that they announce they are getting rid of my operation position in the company. Yes a bad year indeed but then I was ready to buy from Carsense on a 27,000 mile 2012 Hybrid Silver Camry with what my budget would allow me to get. I thought you know what I'll give a Toyota Dealership one last try and saw this white 2012 Hybrid Camry with only 7,550 miles on it and it was posted 3 days before I called. I spoke with Guy Scholl and I put my story down on the table about being on a fixed income and having to pay off my car and saw your 2012 XLE White Hybrid Camry listed a couple thousand more. I really didn't expect the call to last more than 5 minutes but Guy went above and beyond my expectations and check to see if the car was there called me back and we got down to discussing pricing. Let me say out of working in retail since I was 17 years old in Caldor Electronics Department to K-Mart, Target and Wireless industry I've never met such a trusting and honest to upfront sales manager like this. Not only did he deliver exact trade-in estimations for my car he did the impossible and made my dream come true in getting in that car that would accommodate my needs from a car. This White 2012 Camry is in pristine shape and I promise you if I was to never have another chance on another car for the rest of my life this was the one and only car I needed not just want. Liberty was flashy and hot and fast. The ride was exceptionally smooth and acceleration was even cleaner. The options on the car were all there but the one thing that really mattered to me wasn't. I needed a car that didn't need high maintenance and coming from a 4 cylinder didn't deliver up to my expectations. The White Camry I call Trinity now she's great. I actually don't mind the cloth seats since I dealt with that for 18 years and loosing the power passenger only frees up more weight and waiting on time watching my friends try to adjust the seat to their comfort. Not to sound shallow but resetting that is pain and a waste of time I prefer the manual for passenger side now. Losing the heated seats was hard but the hybrid warms up faster and with an engine start remote that will solve that problem fast. The factory stereo is cleared and louder than the JBL 440 watt system which sounded deeper and fuller on bass but I'm particular to clarity. Ok so now to the hard facts. I obtained 39 mpg driving home the first day and achieving 42.2 eco driving score. So yup this car is made for me and were going to get along perfectly from here on out. Lifetime Thank you to you Guy for being a decent gentleman in not playing that sales game I experienced with other dealerships hunting for my last car. You knew exactly what I was looking for and needed and you made it happen!! My personal outlook on future retail is really hard work and upfront facts and numbers to get the customer out fast and neat is what the sales world is lacking. Just because corporations have taken over and ma and pa shops are few to none now doesn't mean you can keep bullying your customers into shortcut selling tactics because if you can't get loyal customers back what is the point for both our sakes. Quick overcoming objections and sidelining if anything in sales just makes for bad rumors and effects more than the one person your handling. I'm a very vocal person as you can see from my commitment to this review description. I will pass on my experience and opinions and have a darn good memory as well so don't think it will be forgotten. Impressions are important and I'm a man who only wants to buy the best and never make the same mistake twice. You made this buyer happy and it will show in many countless conversations for a long time to come. Also I would like to thank Mike Moffa for being such a swell buddy during this sales process. Not only did he offer so many countless assistances in educating me about the car to the entune options he displayed a friendly gestures like offering me a cup of coffee at Wawa. Now my last test drive at Liberty Toyota had no gas in the car even though I had an appointment and they let me drive literally around the block down route 38 to the next light turn back on the jug handle and into the dealership. No discussion or talking really going on the ride had a bit of uneasiness about it. At least Team Toyota James took some time talking with me in the car before we drove off. But back to Mike Moffa, he not only knew his facts about the Toyota hybrid he shared his personal opinions during the drive and made it feel real down to earth. He went above and beyond as well in making sure my warranty and satisfaction was well explained and got me the collateral material needed and explained everything to me as well. He tried every bit possible to make sure I knew what was going on with focus and clarity and really gave me a welcomed feeling to ask questions. He was in no way slow or drawn out he understood body gestures and reactions in moving forward on the sales process when needed. He also had personal experience with driving a 6th generation hybrid and they were true and genuine feedbacks not overblown sales EPA statistics. I just wish I knew about this dealership a year ago but I was trapped in my conservative ways in going to familiar areas. But making shortcuts never benefited anyone right? Also many thanks to Steve Wigler who made the deal happen quickly and didn't pressure me like the previous finance officer I would like to label it because not only did she threatenly got louder at me for not taking a extended warranty I actually ran out of the Liberty Dealership because she was getting a bit irate for a moment with my request I was on a budget I regrettably bust decline. I'm a careful person honestly but if this is all I have to work with on my budget trust me its not smokes and mirrors its the truth this is it and all I can do at the time. Steve was listening to me as we discussed over the options and paper works and he didn't make me feel guilty or foolish in my decisions. Thank you for respecting my good judgement on how I wanted to buy this car with what options. It meant a lot to me because being a buyer you don't want to be proven wrong and argued unless you showed doubt which I was pretty firm in my replies on where I stand. So recapping what did Tri County Toyota do for me? They showed honesty, listen to my concerns and budget, they made me feel like a friend and not like sheep in most of the dealerships out there. They gave me respect and clarity and focused on my needs and delivered a quick and professional extraordinary sales experience. If anyone who reads this notice how AT&T stores react to customers you would understand that they go through a vigorous training routine week in and week out hold VPGM calls and meetings and handouts to remind the workers of how to treat customers and walk them out to the door. This place Tri County Toyota has those expectations at heart and soul. They worked well as a team and delivered a genuine confident sale and left an impression that will last decades. Because I'm not one to go buy a lot but when I do buy or select a company I stick with them for life. Ask my Statefarm Agent or utility companies or Landlord I am 10-15 year committed person and sometimes you want those kind of customers because what they don't do is change their minds about places and that is more valuable than any thousand dollar ad can deliver. Thank you everyone at Tri County Toyota in Royersford, PA for delivering The Great " D.E.E.D" of a lifetime. God bless you all from the heart you've saved a life here with getting me out of that tragic 2013 year of bad luck. P.S. Why everyone should buy a hybrid- Save some money don't spend $30,000 filling up your tank twice a month for 20 years. You could of bought 2 cars on the wasting money on gas. Also less brake pads usage means 80-120k before changing them out 4-6 times. Instantly heats up and starts if you want a faster start up with less hesitation after getting a remote engine start try checking out how fast an electrical hybrid Toyota gets you going after opening the door. No belts or mechanical failures as a petro car would cause you. 2-3 batteries have been replaced in over a dozen Toyota dealerships why worry about a $3500 battery replacement when they aren't even coming up on the news for past 14 years now. The braking and acceleration is more responsive than any petro v6 can give you. We might not be using Flying cars like in Back to the Future II 2015 but hey wasn't the Delorean the first cool hybrid of 1985? 1.21 gigawatts and some gasoline will give you all the time in world to enjoy the ride without counting down the clock. Seriously watching my ultragauge on v6 engine it dropped like a timebomb ticking down at red lights. Scarey Stuff. :) More
Toyota Camry Purchase Experience Michael Moffa recently sold me a 2014 Toyota Camry SE. I had a 1995 Celica that served me very well for 17 years before calling it quits. I test drove the Camry twice to confirm I liked it. Michael was very accommodating on working with pricing and my needs. It was a good experience purchasing a car for the first time in a long long time. Hope the Camry lasts as long as the Celica did! More
Drew was fantastic, personable and actually paid attention to my responses to his questions. He asked a lot of good questions and answered mine. Drew worked with me, patiently, to find the right car attention to my responses to his questions. He asked a lot of good questions and answered mine. Drew worked with me, patiently, to find the right car to fit my needs and within budget range. He didn't blow me off when he found out my budget range and he didn't pawn me off on another staff member in search of a bigger spender. Yes, other dealer's salespeople did do that. No, I didn't buy there. Drew saw me through every step from multiple test drives, through giving me the keys to the car and waving as we drove off. I put off car shopping because I hate the pressure to buy that you normally get at many dealerships; the feeling that if you aren't a good negotiator you will be overpaying; and having the feeling of buyers remorse once I sign the papers. I left feeling happy...like the song. However, my experience at Tri-County Toyota, with Drew Cooper as my salesman, was the most enjoyable car buying experience I have ever had. I plan to keep my new vehicle for a very long time, but when it comes time for cars for other family member and friends, I definitely recommend checking out Tri-County Toyota. Ask for Drew-tell him Karen sent you. More
Mathew was very helpful with the purchase of my new Rav 4. I had walked within an hour of closing and Mathew remained patient until we agreed on a price. I understand that the dealership is currently under 4. I had walked within an hour of closing and Mathew remained patient until we agreed on a price. I understand that the dealership is currently under construction which creates some hiccups in the process. ie. You had to go to another building to meet with financing but I presume that once the building is up in running you will not run into these problems. Otherwise, I was very happy with my experience and agreed price of my new car. Thank you! More

My parents went to tri county toyota to buy a new car. They were dubbed into a lease. They never test drove the car because of bad weather. They called me after the papers were signed. I told them that it was not what they wanted to try to get thier money back. They went to talk to them about buyers remorse and wanted to get out of the lease. They still never touched the car. Guy Scholl came out of his office screaming at my father who is a senior citizen in a threating manner. He told my parents they were not getting thier money back nor would they match an offer we got from 3 different dealers. They gave a $3000 deposit and wanted them to just match the deal. They said no to matching the deal. They were told there is no buyers remorse in the state of pennsylvania and he hoped that they had good lawyers because quote tri county does. We in turn called three different dealers about buyers remorse and were told that any dealership that was in good standing would try and work with the customer or give them a refund because the car never left the lot. Tri county wouldnt even return any phone calls. My parents were forced to hire a lawyer. So now through this process they are out $3000 and lawyer fees. The lawyer did get them out of thier lease but didnt get them thier deposit back. while this was going on Tri county delivered the car to thier house and didnt leave the keys. Again my parents tried to call them and no one would return the phone calls. Long story short they are CROOKS!!!!! The lawyer that my parents hired had told them he had a lot of stories like this from them. My parents are retired living on a fixed income and were taken advantage of. The stress on my senior citizen parents was ridiculous and uncalled for. They were caught ripping senior citizens off and were stong arming them knowing they didnt have the money to fight it. THEY ARE CROOKS AND WILL RIP YOU OFF IF YOUR TRUST THEM. Yes my parents should have walked out but they TRUST people. Well they dont anymore. Thank you Tri county for changing great people. I hope my review help people NOT to get ripped off!!!!! Very unprofessional and extreamly rude people!!!! Congratulations Tri County Toyota you managed to legally STEAL from the elderly!!!! I hope you can sleep at night!!!! I guess business wasnt that good at the time!!!! More
