This time was no exception when I was searching for a new vehicle after 11 yrs with my sweet Toyota Corolla . Because my Toyota was so reliable and Toyota continues to top the consumer reports for #1 vehicle for safety and reliability I knew Toyota was were I wanted to go first. I visited the Toyota dealer by my home which was 5min away ..... I had forgotten how stressful the process could be until I was completely treated with horrible costumer service which had me running out of that dealer practically in tears! I almost decided not to deal with Toyota if this is how their service will be because they didn't deserve my business period! But my boss said have you tried going to Northbrook Toyota, which by the way is 45min from my home, so I decided to reach-out since I really wanted to buy a Toyota again. I was contacted by a Salesman named Anthony and can I tell you he was nothing short of professional over the phone so I decided to make a visit last Friday after work. All I can say is WOW..... the dealer location itself it probably the least fancy from the few I had visited prior but never judge a book by its cover because this location was grand in professionalism and costumer service. Anthony went above and beyond not only to get me the best deal available but he was also so kind , and attentive to my needs! Then the Manager Andrew comes over to greet me, which by no other Toyota dealer I visited had done, and that was before he found out I was a costumer with excellent credit , but his goal was to make my experience as personal as possibly and he succeeded! More Toyota managers should adapt this procedure!! As the experience couldn't have been any better ....Then I met the fiancée guy Damien and mind you it's closing time at this point and most people would be trying to get out as soon as possible on a Friday night but Damien went over everything until my husband and I understood our options and overall purchase and he did it with great knowledge and without making us feel rushed,which is so important when your talking about such a big purchase. I have decided to now install a remote starter and I will take the drive to have it done there!! In conclusion, car shopping is still a stressful process any purchase at that caliber is but if you want it to be the best experience possible with attentiveness and professionalism and knowing your not getting ripped off ! My interest was comparing the Prius to Camry Hybrid. I visited on Saturday, and Anthony Jimenez took care of me, started with the Prius test drive and he was extremely helpful in describing the features (lots of electronics to see). then moved on test drive of Camry and again, he was very helpful. In the end, I decided on the Prius (but a difficult choice). I told Anthony I hate negotiating and want their best price. He brought in the Sales Manager Andrew Low was also great (He seemed interested in me being happy and wanted feedback on my interaction with Anthony - a supportive manager) and gave me an offer that I accepted late Monday night as I believed it was extremely competitive based on doing my homework. Finally, I told Anthony I didn't want to hang out in the dealership long for the purchase, he arranged most of the paperwork so when I arrived on Tues night, I was out quickly. Finally, Damien Gavin, Dir of Finance, was involved in the end of the deal and clearly talked with Anthony as he carried out his part very effectively, again no high pressure for add-ons I was not interested in and happy with his explanation of the extended warranty and maintenance package for me to make the decision that was right for me.
