BUYER BEWARE. Toyota on Edens, and James Cooper in particular, misrepresented the condition of a used car we purchased, which has ABS error codes, including U0126- Toyota on Edens, and James Cooper in particular, misrepresented the condition of a used car we purchased, which has ABS error codes, including U0126-00 and U3000-49 ECU Internal Circuit Failure. They did not allow a 3rd party pre-purchase inspection. They were grossly negligent in their in-house 130-point inspection, and by their own admission, did not perform basic even steps like check the car for error codes, which would have found these issues. When we brought inspection results from a reputable 3rd party mechanic, they replied "any mechanic can write anything" and said "do you trust your mechanic more than our mechanic?" After Toyota on Edens' mechanic took a second look at the car, they admitted that the codes did in fact exist and that they did not perform the basic step of checking for codes (so yes, my mechanic is more trustworthy than their mechanic). In particular, James Cooper destroys confidence in his dealership's brand, exhibited extremely unscrupulous behavior, has no business managing a car dealership. When I asked James, "Do you sell cars with these issues?", James replied "Yes we do", before walking away and later calling me a "smartass brother" for stating the facts. Why would anyone buy a car from Toyota on Edens if their sales manager proudly admits to selling cars with issues that they do not give customers a chance to identify in advance via pre-purchase inspection? Why does this dealer's owner allow James Cooper to create a BUYER BEWARE EXPERIENCE? Ultimately, issues were found in the rack and pinion mechanism causing the error codes, but James Cooper refused any fix, so we are now stuck with a car with error codes. When selling the car, they also use dishonest practices like saying $300 VIN etching is required by dealership policy when it is clearly an optional $20 job. Dishonesty, negligence, misrepresentation, refusal to fix. BEWARE! More
Brought the car in for brake work (ABS light and E Brake light came on). $1500 later, the car was flat out unsafe to drive as you couldn't slow the car down unless you pushed the brake pedal all the way to light came on). $1500 later, the car was flat out unsafe to drive as you couldn't slow the car down unless you pushed the brake pedal all the way to the floor and really put all your weight behind it. Also, the ABS Light and E Brake light were still on. Technicians claimed it was safe and the brakes were fixed - so clearly not competent or safe. Service Center Manager sided with technicians and blamed "rain" for why the technician didn't realize brakes were not safe/fixed. More

Recently purchased a used Acura Integra here, and had perhaps my best experience buying a car! Mark Rahn was my salesman, we talked more about life than the car. No pressure, no xx finance. Initially, sitting down with Dan, I told him about my interest in a comparable car at another dealership. As it turned out, I had missed a bad detail in the other car's CarFax. Dan saved me a trip across the state just by double checking the CarFax with me. As discussion of interest rates progressed between us, it became clearer to Dan how serious I was about my finances and he asked his manager (Carl) about lower rates. Carl is a beast, he was busy phoning banks every time I caught glimpse of him and even during a time of inflation managed to get my interest lowered to be more affordable. Once transferred to financing with John Lee (who is incredibly smart and genuine by the way, watch out if you're also a talkative person) it was a relaxing road to setting up my payments. I felt safe figuring things out with him; helpful since I'm new to the game. John was perfectly clear about warranties, fine print, and legality. A firm handshake closed the deal. Highly recommend, especially these two individuals. My relative who accompanied me and is of high financial IQ was equally assured I got a good deal. Thank you for helping me buy my first car! More

This dealership was sold to a new owner several years ago. I bought several cars from the old owner. Let's just say that the new owner hasn't provided the same quality as the old owner; I won't be buying ago. I bought several cars from the old owner.
