Fantastic Service Department While driving through the Chicago area on a long trip my 2010 Prius developed a loud rattle. I was just passing Northbrook Toyota on I-94, so I heade While driving through the Chicago area on a long trip my 2010 Prius developed a loud rattle. I was just passing Northbrook Toyota on I-94, so I headed over to their service department, not knowing if they were even open on a Saturday afternoon. I explained to the service manager the problem and that I was from out of town on a trip. He asked me to have a seat in their waiting area and he would have one of their mechanics have a look at it. Less than an hour later he returned, handed me my keys and said "Your all set. We secured a loose heat shield." When I asked what the charges were, he replied " Nothing, have a safe trip." I was so shocked and eager to get on the road again that I forgot to get his name. Efficiency, kindness, compassion hard to find anywhere now a days. More

Misleading offer I just had the worst experience at this place which I have been coming to for 25 years. They sent me a letter saying they wanted my car and would exch I just had the worst experience at this place which I have been coming to for 25 years. They sent me a letter saying they wanted my car and would exchange it for a new model and start a new payment plan for less than my current one. Totally misled. The model the letter offed me would be $150 more than I’m currently paying and then they tried to make the deal by selling me a cheaper model with still more expensive payments. I said no. The manager was brought over and his response is “ we didn’t know there would be damage on the car” Sure thar affects the deal but they have their own body shop. Bottom line is that it was a scam to get me in there. I love Eddie at the service department but I will never buy a car from that place again! More
