Avoid the service department I recently took the battery that is still under warranty from my Sienna in for evaluation/replacement. The service person I dealt with gave me nonsen I recently took the battery that is still under warranty from my Sienna in for evaluation/replacement. The service person I dealt with gave me nonsensical reasoning on how the could not test the battery unless I bring the entire car in. He very rudely stated that I could have pulled it from a random old vehicle and was trying to pull a fast one over on them. By his logic, if go home and put this battery into my Sienna, jump start the vehicle, and then bring it in, then he will know where the battery comes from. Since you do not need a vehicle to test a battery and Toyota has dated the battery on top at the time of installation, the entire line of reasoning he provided does not make sense. Not surprisingly, he was more than willing to sell me a new battery. I have taken my car here for service in the past and never had an issue, but will not be going back and supporting a business with such little regard for their customers.
