I'm so pleased with Lustine and wouldn't go anywhere else. I've bought 4 cars now from Lustine - and each time the experience gets better and better. My sales person (Carlos Ramos) is absolut anywhere else. I've bought 4 cars now from Lustine - and each time the experience gets better and better. My sales person (Carlos Ramos) is absolutely the best. You know what makes him the best? His commitment to customer service which is exemplified throughout Lustine. I have recommended Carlos over all others to all my friends. He ALWAYS follows up ... does what he says he's going to do - and genuinely seems to care. Carlos is like ... family. I was looking for an inexpensive car (used) for my son and I called Carlos for advice, knowing he's in the business and can steer me away from models that have problems. Carlos suggested I lease a car for three years, pay a VERY low (and i mean REALLY low) lease payment and avoid the repair jobs from owning a used car. You never know what you'll get when you buy a used car. Sometimes they're a diamond - and sometimes they're a lemon. Carlos made sense. I wanted my only son to be safe and have all the warranties that came with a Lustine car (which seem to be far better than any other dealer). I picked the car out, they detailed it, the finance office was quick to get my paper work out and voila - the car was purchased and my son has a happy face with a car all his friends envy. Thank you Lustine - and thank you Carlos and everybody else at Lustine for making my car shopping easy and pleasant ... AGAIN! More
Greg was great, ratings aren't for him - they are for Rinaldo and Amine Rezki. Clearly those two weren't interested in my business - and as a family having bought three vehicles from them in the past, bu Rinaldo and Amine Rezki. Clearly those two weren't interested in my business - and as a family having bought three vehicles from them in the past, but no more. They insulted me on my trade in value and wouldn't match Kay Jennings in Springfield on price. So I went over to Jennings and spent $40k on a 2013 Highlander Limited. Jennings was $1000 less on price and gave me $5000 more on trade in than Lustine was offering. Shame on you Lustine for not appreciating my customer loyalty. Business must be good to turn away my sale. But as a side note, I was a little upset with the attitude I felt I was getting from Rinaldo and Amine. They didn't seem to care about doing a deal with me (maybe they didn't like my tattoos). Oh well, I quite happy after going to Kay Jennings in Springfield (Dolair was super). More
They were awesome! They had everything ready for us and we had no problems choosing the car we wanted. Martin did a fantastic job. Super duper good we had no problems choosing the car we wanted. Martin did a fantastic job. Super duper good More
I recently purchased a vehicle from Martin and he was more than proffesional. I visited a couple dealers before Lustine and all of them were not so great experiences. I was unsure about even comming due more than proffesional. I visited a couple dealers before Lustine and all of them were not so great experiences. I was unsure about even comming due to what I read online about this dealership. I did not experience any of the things I read. I even made it a point to give him a really hard time and was not very nice to him during negotiations. He stayed very calm and proffesional constantly reassuring me that he is fighting for the best deal for me. After the sale I encountered a couple problems with finance and my vehicle and any time I called him it was taken care of promptly and a return call was made to confirm that I was happy. I will definetly purchase more cars in the future and recommend my friends and family to him. More
I'm gonna go out my way and register for this review just to explain how awful my service was. After reading these reviews I absolutely agree with what others said. I was also allured by the fake Internet pr to explain how awful my service was. After reading these reviews I absolutely agree with what others said. I was also allured by the fake Internet price. The vehicle I was looking at was 23,800. I called ahead to get an answer from GREG TARDIF. I was GREG if they will honor the online price which they said they would and not at any point did they say for certain discounts. When I got there they didn't even have my truck I test drove one similar but it was a lower model, wow I'm sold great service. When GREG " sadly, awfully, mistakened" the real price stating its the price for both college grad and military members and that the real price is 26,000. Way off my price range. I never knew you could get two discounts at once how nice. Before I got to the dealership I kbb my truck and at the lowest fair condition price its worth 1700. Which isn't much I don't have much. Apparently to GREG my truck is worth less then the tonnoau cover on the truck bed he told me it was worth $200. This was the best display of cliche dealership scandals and horrible business skills. I did not go for the deal of course and gave horrible GREG a piece of my mind he really is worse then a tellemarketer. My first car experience was a nightmare. Do not go to this dealer ship. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. More
Nico helped me out a lot he was really friendly and fair. I was in a tough spot and really needed a car and he really hooked me up. The finance person was really pushy I did not enjoy working with him. I was in a tough spot and really needed a car and he really hooked me up. A very deceptive dealership, and the philosophy seems to stem from the top. I recently went down to buy my Camry XLE and was shocked that although I had sent emails verifying my understanding of the price stem from the top. I recently went down to buy my Camry XLE and was shocked that although I had sent emails verifying my understanding of the price I would be paying...upon arriving at the dealership I was told that they would not honor the price we had been discussing. They had $1,500 worth of factory to dealer incentives for military service and recent college grad. In all of my correspondences with three different people of the sales staff did they raise mention anything such as, "Remember, the price we are quoting includes blah blah blah...do you qualify for them?" They were holding back on such details until I had driven all the way down there, figuring I'd be so excited to walk out with a car, I would just agree to the higher price. I didn't...I walked. The next day I sent an email to Jim Giddings, explaining the bad behavior of his salesman and expected an apology. No, instead I got him defending their actions. Here is part of what he wrote me. "As far as your claim of deceptive advertising the add that was sent to you or seen on our website is the exact same type add car dealers have been running in newspapers for decades; even before 1992. Dealers will always advertise the lowest price they can sell a car for including all incentives with a disclaimer at the bottom of the page disclosing at rebates and incentives. That was done with this internet add also." So I see now that it is a "company wide" philosophy of deception rather than an isolated incident. Yesterday, I closed and picked up my Altima Nissan 2.5SL from Rosenthal Nissan Mazda. The experiences were night and day in difference. The price I was told was...GASP...the price when I signed...and it was an EXCEPTIONAL price to boot. It redeemed dealerships for me. I had had similar bad behaviors at another Toyota and also at a Honda dealership. So while Mr. Giddings may be right that such bad behavior may be "industry standard" there is at least one dealership out there that does not operate this way. Do yourself a favor - avoid Lustine, and go to Rosenthal...they know how to treat their customers. More
BUYERS BEWARE!!! After being warned by Mr. Donnell Denney that the competing Toyota dealership was offering too good of a price that he recommended I go for it, he made it a double lied to for the day as bot that the competing Toyota dealership was offering too good of a price that he recommended I go for it, he made it a double lied to for the day as both dealerships were not honest in what they said on the phone. I informed Mr. Denny that I was on the way and once I arrived he was too busy and had someone else wait on us, only to have a sales manager come with the story of I can't sell the car at that price??? The only reason for the visit to the dealer was to test drive and close the deal and not to be lied to and then no where to be found as we left the dealer ... BAD BUSINESS TO LIE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS! Bought the car hundreds cheaper the very next day! More
Pathetic experience at the dealership. Called me in saying that they will give me high price for my trade but offer was very bad. Instead of talking realistic numbers, manager, Nadeem was more interest saying that they will give me high price for my trade but offer was very bad. Instead of talking realistic numbers, manager, Nadeem was more interested in speaking his personal experience. He was so unprofessional that he literally told me that dealership don't care about my business unless they make good money on Camry hybrid. Well, that was it and they lost my business. Josh called several times too but pretty much repeating the same thing and discussing the unrealistic numbers. In his last call, he was very rude and started shouting over the phone. Do not believe on the dealership advertisement of top $ trade and lowest price vehicle etc. It is just not the place to be if you want a decent deal. More
