We have been loyal Toyota of Whittier customers for more than 18 years. I found this quote on the previous dealer owner's LinkedIn page... "Good customer service is all about bringing customers back. You can offer promotions and slash prices to bring in as many new customers as you want, but unless you can get some of those customers to come back, your business won't be profitable for long." Sadly, the new owners of Toyota of Whittier, do not subscribe to this same philosophy. Furthermore, they do not keep their promises. This is the reason that we will no longer be doing business with them which is sad because I have purchased many vehicles from them in the past and had them all serviced there. But, no more after our most recent service experience on August 22, 2023. More

Worst experience ever. Basically the sales department is full of thieves. They run my credit 6 times to lower the credit score. We wanted to buy a RAV4. If I had a way to give zero starts I would. Toyota of Whittier will squeeze you for your last dime. I bought a car from them, then showed the contract to my brother (a lawyer) the next day or s Toyota of Whittier will squeeze you for your last dime. My brother said I was ripped off and went to the dealership and had them remove all the extra overcharge garbage and it cut the payoff amount by $8,000 or so. They would have taken me for $8000. I still got taken, but not at least it is $8,000 less. On top of that, they claim they gave the $8.000 or so dollars to the lien holder, but I have not seen it reflected on my account for about 2 weeks. They also had me leave a $500 deposit and then I paid my full down payment, and the $500 deposit was never refunded or credited to me. You will have no idea who you are dealing with sharks. They are the epitome of manipulative. They act like they will do anything to help you, but you just get screwed and overcharged on interests rates and MANY other add-ons that you wont understand. They got me for $8000 until I got my lawyer/brother involved. Do NOT waste your time and especially do NOT waste your money from them. I suspect that most of, if not all of their 5 star reviews are fake and written by one of those companies that does fake reviews (under the guise of reputation management") because some people seem to think they are wonderful. Perhaps only the ones that get lawyers involved find out what kind of snakes you are dealing with. More
