Great experience buying a Toyota Corolla S from Al Flores at Watertown Toyota. I went there in the first place because their customer reviews on the internet were excellent. I have owned a toyota, a honda, and two vw's so they were all in the running. When I walked in, there was no pressure; I got exactly what I wanted and Al made it really easy and stress-free. I never expected that. I have always bought ''new" and it's always been like fighting a little war, but this time I actually felt like the salesman was on my side. He just wanted me to be happy about my purchase. Plain and simple. It was a pleasure and I would highly recommend going there for a car. The employees seemed happy, professional, and very polite. I was so impressed. And I've had my car for two weeks now and have had several follow-up calls, just checking to see that everything is fine with the car. I couldn't be happier. Except if the car had been free. Then I might be even happier. More
Toyota of Watertown's service department is the best I have ever encountered. Kamel was very attentive and called me when the car was ready prior to the time promised. He is very customer service oriented and answered all of my questions. I will make every appointment with him. Th ready prior to the time promised. He is very customer service oriented and answered all of my questions. I will make every appointment with him. The only complaint I would have was there were spots all over my windows after they washed it...but I didn't say anything because I didn't have time for them to clean them better. They could have paid better attention before giving me my car. More
The service department is by far the best in the area. Try this first class operation and I'm sure you'll be glad you did. I had a problem with my camry and the service manager made sure it was repaired on time and under budget with a smile. The car was washed, vacuumed and returned to us looking and running like new. I checked out the waiting room while the car was being serviced and was amazed by how clean and well stocked it was. The car was ready when promised and it doesn't get much better than that. More
I wanted to share my experience with Watertown Toyota with other readers. I brought my 2010 Camry in for some body work, the result of a bad winter and was greeted with a smile by everyone I met. I was assured by Mike Mason that I would be well taken care of and the car was returned to me in perfect condition-I can't say enough about the excellent service received at this dealership! More
Paul was terrific! He got me the car I wanted at a great price, and threw in a lot of extras that were very important to me! I had to reinstall an externally bought satellite radio, and he knocked down the price, and threw in a lot of extras that were very important to me! I had to reinstall an externally bought satellite radio, and he knocked down the price for that. He also was friendly, didn't hassle me about taking the car to a garage for inspection, and he didn't seem to play a lot of typical used-car dealer games with me. I'd buy from Paul again in a heartbeat! More
Received a price quote from the dealership through a discount buying service for a 2011 Sienna. Called to go over the quote, availability of the van and total costs for the transaction. They were very discount buying service for a 2011 Sienna. Called to go over the quote, availability of the van and total costs for the transaction. They were very open, straight forward and easy to deal with. We went to purchase the van and they did exactly as they promised on the phone. Their were no other hidden fees and they honored the quote without a problem. Met with the finance manager, discussed warranties, but no high pressure tactics or games. Also, while we were at the dealership, several of the staff went out of their way to keep our two small kids entertained. Overall it was the best purchase experience I ever had and I will recommend the dealership to my friends. More
Paul was friendly, fair and honest. A pleasure to work with. Everything was taken care in the end. They gave me a fair price for my trade in and I walked out of there feeling like I had gotten the car I w with. Everything was taken care in the end. My vehicle just got totaled in an accident in November 2010 after 2,5 years of an almost a non-stop perfect run. 150+ K for two years... So I decided, obviously, it's time for a new one. And also it's tim 2010 after 2,5 years of an almost a non-stop perfect run. 150+ K for two years... So I decided, obviously, it's time for a new one. And also it's time to buy my fiancee one too. And, as a matter of fact, I can make it even better by bringing in two friends with me. So, in the month of December I was ready to give 4 customers to one dealer in one day. Not bad, huh? So, I was shopping online, reading reviews, comparing options, etc. Made a couple calls to dealers, but everybody wanted me to "come down" to their showrooms. OK, like I mentioned, I didn't have a vehicle at the moment, so it's either "find one dealer over the phone with the right deal" or "ask your friends to spend a week driving you around, while everyone is trying to make a fool out of you with their salesman tricks". I personally would prefer the first one. So, I came across pricequotes.com and they seem to have partnered wit AmEx, which have also partnered with certain dealer, who claims to have the best price ($ 11,235 for 2010 Toyota Yaris Sedan). Good. So, I entered my info, and waited for them to call me, however, they didn't for about two hours, so I had to call myself. I spoke with Jennifer Martinez, who said that: 1. The quote is legit. However, she stated it showed up as $11,928 in her computer. That's $693 difference. I mentioned it to her and she said it's a mistake, but it won't be a problem, they will honor the price that I have from AmEx. 2. It's for a car WITH power options. 3. I may get additional discounts for quantity, but I have to get to the showroom for their manager to discuss it with me. 4. I specifically asked WHAT IS AND WHAT IS NOT included in the quote. She said: tax, RMV fees, doc fees. So, since it was the best quote so far, I made my trip to Toyota of Watertown on 12/22/2010. I asked for Jennifer, but staff told me she is an Internet Dept Manager and someone will help me shortly. I asked people sitting there (managers or something) how does the process work if I want to buy multiple cars. They said they bank will NOT approve me for multiple vehicle purchase (WRONG!), they said that WITHOUT even pulling my credit report out. Then this salesman H.Amin showed up and I was promised to be taken care of. He invited me into his office, sat there and acted like I'm a little kid who came there to ask him, mister, to sell me a car, please. When I told him about the quote I had, he said: 1. The vehicle quoted DOES NOT EXIST. The quoted price is for a vehicle WITHOUT "convenience" package: it would not have AC, heater, CD player, radio, etc. and TOYOTA DOESN'T MAKE THESE. 2. He would have to place a "special order" for me, so they will make a vehicle quoted, which takes 4-6 weeks. 3. Forget about power package for this price, obviously. 4. There is $750 delivery fee, that Jennifer "forgot" to mention. He also left me a couple times in his office for like 10+ mins, like he had to talk to the GM about the case. Bottom line: the price he quoted me was $13'675 for the vehicle without power package. That was a little off the expected price, so I walked away with nothing. Fighting with mr. Amin over the internet quote didn't help much, literally, this was one of his "useful" statements: "I'm sorry, there is nothing I can help you with". So, I wrote a letter to Jennifer, but neither she, nor anybody else have reacted in any way to explain what happened with their best price guarantee. BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!!! I ended up buying 3 cars a couple days later at another dealership for the price much better than mr. Amin's. TOYOTA OF WATERTOWN - EPIC FAIL! More
I have owned 3 toyotas over the last 25 years, and believe the excellent service provided by Toyota of Watertown can be credited considerably with their longevity. Every time I go to the service depar believe the excellent service provided by Toyota of Watertown can be credited considerably with their longevity. Every time I go to the service department, I am impressed with the knowledge, friendliness, and efficiency of the staff, along with the comfort of the waiting area. Yesterday was no exception. My service advisor, Kamel, who is very solicitous and seems to remember all his customers, informed me up front about a recall detail. With my mileage 25K for a 2003 model, he suggested that I have the full 30K-inspection. However, that particular day, I had an appointment and couldn't afford the time for the recall work or the full inspection. In the garage, the (original) battery was found to be weak, as was the (original) water pump, and original wipers. Being retired, I had not driven this car so much as previously, and was focused mainly on its oil filter changes. He convinced me that I should replace the battery, water pump, and the (original) timing belt. I initially balked at the cost of the full-30K inspection replacements, but he applied some coupons, which brought the cost down considerably, and he convinced me of the importance of this service on a car that had modest mileage, but was a good 8 years old. He offered me a courtesy ride to my appointment and back so that the work could be done. The drivers, Aniz, to my appointment, and Luis, back, were most accommodating. Luis apparently also cleaned my car, inside and out, with the help of Jose, who both proudly handed my sparkling car to me when it was ready. More
