Jon was extremely friendly and nice and explained what repairs/services were done. I had gone to the Dr for a fasting blood test before arriving and was thrilled to see a box of donuts and coffee in the w repairs/services were done. I did not have to wait unusually long for the work I had done- 40,000 mile checkup and new brakes. My overall experience with purchasing and servicing my Toyota here has been so positive that it has made me a dedicated Toyota owner. More
Purchased my Venza from another dealer within the last month. I had a few issues from delivery that I needed to have checked out. Didn't get anywhere with other dealer and was disappointed with them. Did some looking for another dealer in my area and found Toyota of Wallingford. A little more out of my way to come here but customer service is everything to me and I was very pleased with Jon and the service I received. He listened and kept me involved and I left satisfied. I will be back here for all of my service needs. More

Karen brought me in the same day I called, brought me into the service area and had a mechanic show me each break. The job was done without any charge to me, She gave me an almost new car to use until my car was fixed, free of charge. Everyone was so friendly and polite and knowledgeable that my bad experience became a good experience with Toyota of Wallingford. Now I know why they are #1 in Connecticut. More

Katey Hunter in the service department is fantastic! It says a lot for a business when you have a knowledgeable staff member who is always willing to help and go the extra mile. Before the service department fixes, changes or replaces any part we always receive a call from Katey explaining in detail the findings along with a cost. This information is truly helpful and doesn't go unnoticed. We will continue to recommend this dealer to all of our family and friends. More

I bought a Prius from this dealer in 2006, with an extended warranty. Part of the warranty required that I get service at this dealer and this dealer only. I complied with that. About 5000 miles after the warranty ended, my car broke down, with a dead battery. The Toyota dealer that I took it to (not Toyota of Wallingford) explained that the Prius is sensitive, and the oil had been over-filled, going into the intake. Over time, that caused the battery to work too hard and killed it. I called Toyota of Wallingford, the only people to ever work on my car until the breakdown, and explained the situation. Here is the timeline of what happened: 3/18 - car broke down. 3/19 - fixed. 3/21 - called and spoke with Diane, explaining the situation. I asked to be re-imbursed for the cost of repair, as it had been explained to me that the damage was caused by overfill of oil, and that had to be done at Toyota of Wallingford. 3/25 - called to follow-up since I hadn't heard back, spoke with Karen. 3/30 - called and was told by receptionist that I was on Diane's to-do list and she would call me that day. I did not hear from her. 4/4 - called and was told by receptionist Diane would call back that day. I said that I had been told that before and I would call her supervisor if I didn't hear back. Diane called that day to tell me that although they had done all the service on my car, they would not re-imburse me. I expressed my displeasure. Diane told me that she would let Karen know I was not happy and Karen would call me. 4/11 - I still had not heard from Karen, so I called and asked for Steve, Sr. I left a message explaing that my complaint was that I had to hound customer service, that they would not call me back. 4/19 - never heard back from Steve. Called and asked to speak with him again, but he is now on vacation. Asked for Karen and was told she was unavailable. The customer service is atrocious. The least they can do is respond to my calls and actually call back when they say they will. More
Wow. We brought my 4-Runner in for service (140,000 miles). Like everything else that ages, my 4-Runner needed a bit of TLC; including transmission service, tires and wheel alignment; assorted bulbs, miles). Like everything else that ages, my 4-Runner needed a bit of TLC; including transmission service, tires and wheel alignment; assorted bulbs, belts, wipers, plugs, wires, oil and filters. They did everything in one business day and the car was returned to us a lot cleaner than when it was brought in. The vehicle runs like new. Needless to say, we are extremely pleased with the service at Wallingford and use them for both the 4-Runner and our Avalon. Unlike a dealer on the shoreline, Toyota of Wallingford values its customers and acts accordingly. We give them a two-thumbs-up. More
