I showed up at toyota of wallingford with a far less than happy attitude.I was greeted by Eric and Steve JR. I went on to explain my problem and let them know that i did not have alot to spend and what i goo happy attitude.I was greeted by Eric and Steve JR. I went on to explain my problem and let them know that i did not have alot to spend and what i good aford.I was surprise to see that they were actually listening to me and did not interject till i was finished.Then the search began.During the time i was in the lot with eric Steve came out and went thru a list of cars and trucks that i could aford and that were to my likeing.I was not clicking with anything until Steve remembered that he had just goten a 04 nissan xtera and it was in back it was what i was looking for. Steve and Eric never once asked me to give them any money or pressured me two days later after the financing went thru i left with my new Xtera.I will always return to them and recomend anyone for and enjoyable car buying experiance Thank You Dennis More
My husband and I were in the market for a new car after a very bad experience with Barberino. This time we did our research and went to a top rated dealership. Even though we needed a car, I was a little hesitant because of our bad experience in the past. I dislike car salesman/mechanics because I feel they take advantage of people. We went to Toyota of Wallingford on a very cold and windy morning. To my surprise the car lot was filled with prospective buyers. We walked around for a moment and then were greeted by Joe Delaney. He wasn't pushy at all and understood we wanted to look around on our own first. We looked around and decided to go to other dealerships on the same road. We went to all the other dealerships and didn't spend more than 5 minutes at each one. The other dealerships had no one there and multiple sales people following us around. We decided to go back to Toyota of Wallingford. I loved a 2009 Toyota Corolla S on the lot and asked Joe to let us test drive the vehicle. He was the calmest, most knowledgable salesman I ever spoke to. I tested his knowledge during the entire test drive. He never hesitated or gave a runaround answer. We decided to purchade the car after the test drive. The dealership itself has a play center for children, a mini market, and soda station. We were there during lunch time and Joe gave us lunch!!! We got a great deal and they gave us a very fair price for the trade in of our volkswagon passat. I will never do business with another dealership. My mother is in the market for a car and we will be bringing her to Toyota of Wallingford. More
We lost our beloved but fuel thirsty pickup two weeks ago in a minor weather related accident. We were very torn in our thought process for its replacement. We contacted Wallingford Toyota, the dealership we have been working with for nearly 4 years since purchasing our last vehicle (2005 Toyota Sienna AWD)...which is how be became acquainted with Eric Levine and Bob and the other folks in Service. We started out looking for a Tacoma, then a Rav/4 (with a trailer hitch)...and finally settled on a Blue '09 Prius...which my wife and daughter (Claudia & Emily) fell in love with during our visit to test drive a RAV/4 this past Saturday. We came a long way in two weeks from Tacoma to Prius. In that process we also interfaced with many other dealerships (Ford, Subaru, Toyota, Honda). The apparent lack of focus (on our part) would and did challenge the patience of other dealerships. This was not the case with Wallingford Toyota in general and Eric Levine in particular. Ultimately, I believe Claudia and Emily made a good, responsible choice...and Eric's indulgence/patience made my middleman role far less stressful. The availability of product, selection of colors, equipment, etc., price, and the value added services (oil changes, tires, batteries, and gas card)..all supported the decision. We arrived at 4PM on Saturday and left by 6PM in a new Blue Prius. More

Joe Delaney and the locate manager, Eric, worked hard to locate the exact vehicle I wanted. The entire process took only 24 hours! I went in on a Thursday evening and took my new RAV 4 home the next afternoon. I felt that I was treated with respect. Car shopping alone can be intimidating for women, but I never felt that anyone at Toyota of Wallingford was less than honest and respectful. I needed to purchase a used car for my daughter. From my first contact with the dealership and salesperson Elvin Witcher, I was struck by the friendly atmosphere, his knowledge of the cars and options avail first contact with the dealership and salesperson Elvin Witcher, I was struck by the friendly atmosphere, his knowledge of the cars and options available, helpfulness, patience and assistance in finding the right car at the right price. He even drove the car to our mechanic to have it checked over, at our request. AND, he was beyond patient, as I am the type who has many questions, which were all answered thoroughly and to my satisfaction. The car was immaculate upon purchase. He called to follow up, making sure all was going smoothly, and indicated he would be available if there were any problems or questions. I also received a call from Diane Roberts, who was helpful and informative as well, and again, offered her help if there were any questions at a future date. I would recommend Toyota of Wallingford and salesperson Elvin Witcher to anyone who is looking for a totally positive experience in car shopping. By the way, my daughter LOVES her car. More
The car that I had been driving for the last seven years was a beater to say the least. This was my first new car experience. I had very high expectations for any dealer that I was going to buy from. I feel like everyone I deal with there does a phenomenal job. I started looking at new cars on Toyota of Wallingford's website and I was able to have an email correspondence with Ron Jackson, the internet salesman. He answered all my emails in a timely manner and was very helpful. It was a while after that before I was ready to come in and look at cars. I was helped out by Joe Delaney. Joe was a great salesperson, he was friendly and helpful. At no time did I feel like I was being rushed. I took a 2008 Tacoma for a test drive. I could tell Joe really liked Toyota trucks (turned out he owned one too), his enthusiasm helped me make up my mind. The best part of the experience was that I didn't buy the car that day and Joe did'nt try to pressure me. I wanted the VSC feature. It turned out that I wouldn't be able to get that with the all the other features I wanted until 2009. Joe was totally cool with letting me walk out and would call me as soon as he could get the car I wanted. He called me a few months latter when the 2009's came in. I test drove one and decided I wanted it, but in a different color. Once again Joe said, "no problem, I just want you to be happy", and he ordered the truck in the color I wanted. In the end I bought a 2009 Tacoma TRD Sport 4 door. After I bought the car from Joe I bought a warranty from Tony Ebanks. Tony was very helpful and explained the differences in the warranties. I went with the platinum and he was able help me out with the price. I've had the truck since August now and I have been in for an oil change and some accessories. Karen in the service department was extremely helpful. Fred in parts will help you out with any TRD accessories you need. I had a casual conversation with Diane in customer relations while I waited and she really proved to me that everyone there is really passionate about Toyota and cares about their customers. I tell all my friends I love my Tacoma and tell them to go to Toyota of Wallingford if they want a Toyota. I even sent my Grandmother there to buy a car. The sale was great I felt no pressure. The service is great. In conclusion you can buy a Toyota anywhere and it is going to be a great truck. It was the people there that made the biggest difference. More
