Toyota of Wallingford was the first Toyota dealership that my wife and I visited in our search for a new Toyota. We found the sales people busy with customers, necessitating us to wait awhile to meet with a salesperson, which we did not mind. As soon as he had finished attending to the customer(s) that preceded us, we were greeted by a friendly salesperson, Nick Culver. I explained to Nick that we were just beginning our quest and wanted to gather as much information as possible. We found Nick very accomodating in every way. He was an excellent listener! He wanted to learn what we were looking for in a vechicle, what our needs, taste and budget were. He did not have a personal agenda that he was trying to execute. He understood that we would be totally turned-off and driven away by the typical "pushy salesmanship." Nick answered all our questions. If there was anything he couldn't answer, he immediately found the answer. Nick provided us with all the brochures for the models we were considering. My wife, who nwould be the driver of the new vechicle, was offered the opportunity to test drive on e or more of the vechicles. Nick was there to try to find the car that met asll of our needs. Nick gave us some price quotes for the models we were considering. I promised Nick that we would return after pricing a few other dealerships and give him an opportunity to beat our best offer. This promise was made because we found Nick to be very honest,sincere and very professional. Nick and I kept in communication all through the shopping. Yet, i never felt pressured or being high-pressured by Nick. In the end, we found Nick's deal from Toyota from Toyota of Wallingford to be our best deal. We happily purchased a new 2010 Yarus. I would highly recommend Nick Culver of Toyota to anyone interested in purchasing a new or used Toyota. More

We were treated very professionally and courteously from beginning to end and continuing through to the end of the transaction when we came back to have the bluetooth and mudflaps put on. Normally I have my husband handle the car buying since I never found it to be a pleasant experience I would rather go to dentist then buy car but Dave and the staff at Wallingford Toyota changed my mind and made it a pleasure.We were treated well by Dave and appreciated the that when we came in to do the paperwork the finance manager was very efficient got us out quickly. The integrity of the people we dealt with was very apparent.This was the smoothest transaction I have ever done when purchasing a new car. My expectation for buying a car is always "here comes the stress". Not so at this dealership. It was surprisingly stress free. They were friendly, helpful and knew their business. The facilities were nicely kept and clean and like the all around assistance. There are 2 items I feel a little pushy about the experience. Both have nothing to do with the dealership but Toyota's review. 1. The phone call after from Toyota on a survey about my experience. The assumption that taping phone calls is a given right on your part. Either be taped or do not take the survey. Sorry chose the later. 2. This review. 250 characters or more? Common on! Am I writing a college essay! Pushy! That's all - I'll still give Toyota a thumbs up. More
I've recently went in for my 25k mile service on my 2009 Rav4. In the past I've never had a problem with their service dept but on this visit I have to say I am disappointed in their quality control. An oil change was performed but someone left the old oil change tag on the windshield, I had to check the invoice to make sure they did the oil change. There is no excuse for the tag not to be changed. Then 2-3 weeks later my low tire pressure warning light comes on. It was a simple fix of putting air in my tires and I did keep a close eye on the pressure for the next few days in case I did have a slow leak. I did discovered my spare (also in the loop for checking pressure which is a great feature to have)was at 20 lbs and also my 2 rear tires were slightly above 22-23lbs, and a front was at 29lbs. Are they not checking tire pressure anymore during a service? I understand that with a change in temperature that tire pressures can change slightly, but I find it hard to believe my light warning light will turn on just 3 weeks after a major service unless they did not check the tires. I usually request a tire rotation but I think I'll start marking my tires with chalk from now on to see if they are really doing it. I originally chose Wallingford Toyota based on quality and reputation, but I'm concerned that they are slipping in the quality dept. On a minor note, I make my appointments for Saturday morning and prefer to drop my car off the night before, but this time it wasn't ready until after 3:30pm that day! Come on guys, considering the shortcuts you've taken I would expect my car to be finished by lunch. More
We were in need of a new family car and decided on Toyota Sienna AWD XLE (Sandy Beach Metallic) and I put in a request for quote through internet and visited multiple dealership to get the car I wanted. I interacted with almost 8 dealership in the process, six in CT and 2 in MA and no one came close to the service Toyota Wallingford provided. Their Internet sales department was quick to provide quote for the car I wanted with all additional information in record time. our sales guy, Frank Pagliuca treated us with utmost respect and took time to understand our needs. although, they did not have the car i wanted in stock......I still got what I wanted and in the price range I wanted it as well and the timeframe wanted it in. This is my first car purchase at a dealership and I am more than extremely satisfied with the service and commitment provided by Toyota of Wallingford and Frank. More
We recently purchased a Toyota Camry from Toyota of Wallingford. While the purchase transaction did not go the way we expected, it was how the dealership handled the mistake that impressed us the most Wallingford. When we first went to the dealership, we traded in our Honda for a Toyota RAV4. We were sold on the fact that the car had dual side airbags. Upon taking delivery of the car and driving it home, I discovered that this model did not have side curtain air bags. At this point, I had already purchased the car and traded my Honda into the dealership. The next day, I was fearing the worst and went back to the dealership. I explained that the car did not have the features that the salesman described when I first test drove the car, but that I wanted to exchange this car for another. Without hesitation Steve Zion Jr, the used car sales manager, apologized for their mistake and took the RAV4 back. They even canceled the registration! After two more hours of checking out cars (The salesman even took a car of the lift in the garage to show us new inventory that just arrived)and test driving, we settled on a Toyota Camry. This car was perfect for us and had the safety features that we wanted. Between Steve, Nick Culver and Jeff Benham, we were treated just right and my wife and I could not be happier with our purchase. The way Toyota of Wallingford handled a mistake was what impressed me. Any dealer can say that they have good customer service, but Toyota of Wallingford went the extra mile and took care of me as a customer. Very nice job!
