I started this process in Rockland County, NY and got such a bad taste from the local dealer so quickly that I elected to drive 60 miles to work with Toyota of Wallingford. Bill helped me with the purchase of my new car and gave me a great deal. He explained about and answered all questions about my new vehicle, which led to my purchase. He gave me a break down of all the options, and was very knowledgeable about the car. He was very friendly, helpful, personable and honest. Gloria helped me with the financing and contract part of my purchase. She was very knowledgeable, and explained all aspects of the contract, down to every detail, that I had questions about. She also explained in great detail about the financing options, such as GAP insurance and a maintenance plan, which I purchased due to the fact I had all the information about each one. She was very friendly, helpful, personable and honest also. Everyone that also worked their were very nice, and the atmosphere in the dealership was very personable and friendly. They also have lifetime oil changes with the purchase of their cars. When in their service department it had a nice lounge and was kid friendly with a play area, so I am looking forward to my first service oil change. Overall I was very satisfied and pleased with my new car purchase. And Bill and Gloria made my purchase experience pleasurable, where I was anxious when first thinking about buying a new car. I am going to absolutely recommend them to family and friends, and will also be buying a used vehicle for my son in early spring. More

I was looking for a car on the internet and I came across Toyota of Wallingford. I made an appointment with Dan Roberts to see a car I really liked for my daughter. I went with my husband and daughter but when we got to the dealer, everything changed for the better because we ended up buying a better car: 09 Camry. Dan was very courteous and he made us feel like family. We felt the same way with Gloria Fernandez. She was very nice and helpful with everything; she even helped us get a low interest rate with the Finance Director Sohail Butt who was also a very nice guy. I love all three of them. I would really really recommend this dealer to anyone. This is the first time I could say the whole deal went through smoothly with no hidden fees, surprises of any kind, or pressure from any body. To the dealer I would give you this advice: Put Gloria on the Spanish channel "Univision" to bring more buyers because she has her way with words. I have seen Gloria on TeleMundo as well. From start to finish this was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Bill was very friendly & made the waiting time,necessary as my husband needed to return to our home to get the car we were experience I've ever had. Gloria made, what is usually a tedious process of filing out paperwork, a very enjoyable process. They both have the type of personality that puts the customer at ease. I plan on having my daughter look for her first car at this dealership. In the prices of looking for a car for ourselves we feel that we have found a perfect starter car for her. They were both helpful about giving us suggestions about how she could use buying her first car to help her establish her credit. More

Not only did they sell me a new truck with some three four scratches in it, but when I brought it back 30 min.s after I left, Elvin tells me well it's not that bad. So the manger Vic told me he will get four scratches in it, but when I brought it back 30 min.s after I left, Elvin tells me well it's not that bad. So the manger Vic told me he will get me a new gas door ( that's where 70% of the scratches were ) and also throw in a new tool box for the back of the truck, which he did, but I was told they ordered it and was dropping it off for the install, however I filled my gas tank up and reset my odometer before going there... I came back to pick up my truck and more than a quarter tank of gas is missing ( which means to me they beat the hell out of it ) and there is 71 more miles on my new truck !! I got in my new truck and the radio was on full blast, there more miles on it, and used my gas !! I was so mad I went in to ask why they drove it and I was assured no one drove my truck off the lot and only after I confronted them with the odometer, and gas they finally admitted having to use it to go pick up the box cause they couldn't get it shipped... B.S. !! Long story short I was promised to have a new gas door installed and still haven't, can't even get a call back !?!? I've now owed my truck 5 months and when I do call it's seems the person I'm looking for isn't in.... Or is on another call and will call me back... In case there reading this, I'm still waiting to hear back from you ! JUST A OVER ALL BAD EXPERIENCE WITH WALLINGFORD TOYOTA- AFTER YOU SIGN THE PAPERS IT'S ON TO THE NEXT SUCKER !! AND THIS IS TRULY HOW I FEEL ABOUT THIS DEALERSHIP !! More
