Steve greeted me when I came in with a winning smile and easy demeanor. I didn’t feel attacker by vultures like you can feel at some other dealerships. He asked me what I wanted and didn’t try to sell me on the things I didn’t. He was easy to talk to and share a laugh with so the process wasn’t stressful at all. Due to past issues I had late payments and credit issues. Breaking this news to someone can either go well or very bad. Since I have pretty bad anxiety on a normal day, I was impressed with how Steve was able to break this news to me without sending my anxiety through the ceiling. He reassured me and told me he would do whatever he could to help. I also had problems with my insurance which he patiently helped me through. If there was a delay for any reason he told me why so I wasn’t sitting there wondering what was happening. I had an overall completely amazing experience with steve and would not hesitate to suggest him to anyone. More

Steve Lang, my sales rep., was professional, courteous, and extremely responsive (even on his days off). I took numerous test drives and had lots of questions since this is the first used vehicle I've ever purchased. Sales rep. Tom Boland, who went on the last test drive with me, was also eager to be helpful and answered my questions, which made me sure about purchasing this vehicle from this dealership. The business transaction for the purchase with Bill D. in Finance was concise, smooth, and informative. Sohail in Finance was great, very nice---he answered questions quickly and clearly. During the sales process, I expressed concerns about very poor reviews I'd seen on-line for this dealership. I was assured I'll have no issues. I trust my future interactions with Toyota of Wallingford will go as smoothly as the sales component. The only downside: CJ (sales mgr.) said that the (high) dealer processing fee is absolutely NOT negotiable, in contradiction to the sales order and posted sign that, as mandated by CT law, state the fee is negotiable. CJ also stated that the customer may never register a vehicle him/herself and that I was completely wrong about the law on this. CGS very clearly states: "the buyer MAY ELECT, WHERE APPROPRIATE, to submit the documentation required for the registration and transfer of ownership of the motor vehicle which is the subject of the sale to the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, in which case the dealer SHALL reduce such fee by a proportional amount." Please note the dealership sign says the DMV fee shall be reduced by zero. More
