Avoid Toyota of Stamford if you have other options Went there after seeing a listing for Toyota Camry priced at $14,995. Called up to confirm if the car was still available - they said it was. As soon as I went there (on the same day as I called up), Justin and Steve said - "Sorry, the car seems to be sold". However they offered me another camry listed at $16,995 and immediately brought it down to $15,995. All good till here. When I went back after 2 days to finalize the deal, I told them I wasn't interested in buying the extended platinum warranty (7 years, 100k miles) for $1350. The guy, Anthony, who sells the warranty wasn't pleased. Steve said he could talk to the GM to finalize the deal for $15,995 but Anthony won't let him. He kept meddling in our talks - kept saying that the car was more worth than $15,995. Finally, Anthony proposed that we would get the car for $15995 only if we buy the warranty from him (which is supposed to be optional) else we would have to pay $16,200!!! How can they force us to buy an optional warranty and how is it supposed to affect the base price of the car?? We walked out and decided to never go there again. More

After lots of research, I decided a used Toyota would likely be one of my best options so I went to Toyota of Stamford. Tom Purcell, Justin Nolletti and Anthony Capolupo walked me through the whole process, and I drove out with a lightly used Toyota (15,000 miles) on an overall package that exceeded my expectations, and will acually help my credit profile in the long run. Derek Kotarowski, whom I purchased three cars from previously, talked me into merits of leasing versus purchasing. Elise put together the financial illustrations quickly and ran through all the scenarios that I wanted to see. My trade-in car was appraised quickly and I was happy with the price that was offered to me. I was very pleased to learn that I could trade in my old car, pay for the lease with an attractive one-time payment and receive a check back! Anthony Capolupo finalized the paperwork and final numbers and did a great job also. My car was ready the same day and my wife and daughter were very happy with the new car! More

Steve Sentementes handled the sale of the car smoothly and was ontop of all of the details so that the car was delivered to us in perfect condition. Anthony Capolupo handled the paperwork without a hitch and gave us good advice on which warranty to buy, advice which we followed. John Linn, the General Manager, even pointed out a scratch during the sales process he would repaint, a scratch we didn't even notice. These guys are great. A very stress free experience, the way car buying should be. More
